Biden, White House Refusing to Provide Key Information

 November 7, 2023

There are two inquiries floating around for Joe Biden and this administration right now that are showing a complete lack of transparency.

This is the opposite of what Biden promised during the election, stating that his administration would be the most transparent in history.

The issues are the alleged loans to Joe Biden's brother, James, and recent private flights by Secretary Buttigieg to key swing states in the upcoming election.

Talking Points…

  • Biden loans
  • Pete Buttigieg

Joe Biden's Alleged Loans to James Biden

There are two alleged loans (that we know of) that took place between Joe and James Biden.

They came to light when the House Oversight Committee was finally able to obtain James Biden's financial records.

There were two direct payments made to Joe Biden from James Biden that were marked "loan repayment."

The problem is that there is no paperwork that Joe Biden has produced, nor can the committee locate an outgoing payment from Joe Biden in these amounts or a single deposit from James Biden to match what would have been the loan deposit given to him by Joe.

The White House has refused to supply this information, information that could end any speculation that these payments were part of a scheme to funnel money to Joe Biden from Hunter and James Biden overseas business deals.

The House Oversight Committee posted an update on X…

"The White House today made clear to us that President Biden is refusing to hand over loan documents for any 'loans' he provided to his brother, James Biden.

"We've exposed nearly a quarter of a million of dollars that James Biden sent to Joe Biden as 'loan repayments' that were funded by laundered China money and influence peddling schemes. Is this what 'the most transparent administration in history' is supposed to look like?"

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg's Taxpayer Funded Trips to Swing States

During the 2022 election cycle, Secretary Buttigieg had some conveniently timed trips to swing states pushing Biden's agenda.

Those trips raised a lot of eyebrows, but now Buttigieg's office is stonewalling information requests for the costs of those trips.

The request was made by the Americans for Public Trust (APT) watchdog group.

In all, eight trips were made during August 2022, right smack dab in the middle of the campaign season for the mid-term election cycle.

Among the states visited were Arizona, Florida, Oklahoma, Minnesota, Ohio, Nevada, and New Hampshire. It is an odd menu of states when you consider their importance to both parties to maintain congressional power.

APT Executive Director Caitlin Sutherland stated:

"Secretary Buttigieg continues to blow off the American people who simply want to know the true cost of his taxpayer-funded private jet trips. After multiple FOIA requests, a lawsuit, and an ongoing inspector general investigation, Buttigieg's office still refuses to provide vital details about using a private government jet for a swing state tour, which appears more akin to campaigning than official DOT business.

"Buttigieg looks to be politicizing his role and making it clear that he believes he's above accountability and transparency, a dismissive attitude that seems to be endemic throughout the Biden administration."

Analysis

If you read our reports regularly, you know I have stated numerous times that all Biden needs to do to shut down these allegations is produce proof of the loans to his brother James.

By not producing those documents, there are only two conclusions that can be drawn.

The first being that Biden has the documentation but chooses to drag this out as long as possible to try to make Republicans look foolish when he finally does provide that documentation.

The second, and more likely in my opinion, is that the documentation does not exist. If it did, Rep. Comer (R-KY) would have already been able to find it in their bank statements.

Regarding Secretary Buttigieg's travel, there is zero doubt that his trips were political in nature and not to promote policy as the White House stated.

Administrations have made trips like this for decades, but it was never a "thing" until members of the Trump administration were caught doing it, which is why so much scrutiny is now being aimed at the Biden administration.

If the media were doing its job, there would be one question asked of Karine Jean-Pierre at every upcoming briefing… "Why won't Joe Biden produce the proof of the loans, and why is Buttigieg's office stonewalling documentation to support his claims for private travel?"

That question should be asked every day until we get an answer.

In terms of importance, while wasteful government spending is infuriating, the payments to Joe Biden are literally a national security risk, especially when you also take into account Biden's hesitancy to hold Iran and China accountable.
