Savannah Chrisley's fiancé named as Jason Galanis, fraudster Trump freed after Hunter Biden links

Pregnant reality star Savannah Chrisley has a new fiancé, and he is Jason Galanis, a Trump-commuted fraudster with past ties to Hunter Biden.

Page Six reported the identity after Chrisley announced she is expecting her first child and showed off the man she had only called “J.”

Chrisley is 29. Galanis is 56. That 27-year gap drew sharp online pushback. The larger story is who he is, what he was convicted of, and how President Donald Trump ended his sentence.

Us Weekly matched the confirmation the same Tuesday she posted the pregnancy news on Instagram. How the couple met remains unclear.

Chrisley called him her protector while shielding his full name

In the Instagram video, Chrisley displayed her growing baby bump beside the man she is set to marry. She still held back his full name at first.

She labeled him her “protector,” her “fiercest fighter,” and her “most loyal person.” The caption struck a grateful tone.

She wrote:

"I’ve prayed for this life. I’ve cried for this life. And there were moments I truly wondered if this life would ever be mine. 🥹🤍,"

On her “Unlocked” podcast she waved off the age-gap pile-on. She said she does “not care” about the “brutal” criticism.

She told listeners:

"I have always said, ‘I would rather [have] 20 phenomenal, unbelievable years with someone than 50 just [fine] years,’"

Galanis drew a 14-year term and an $80 million bill

Galanis was no ordinary older fiancé. Courts had already marked him as a major fraud defendant.

In September 2020 he received more than 14 years in federal prison for his role in two schemes. One of them bilked a Native American tribe and investors out of tens of millions of dollars.

Judges also ordered him to forfeit about $80 million in proceeds and to pay roughly the same amount in restitution. Tabloid coverage once dubbed him “Porn’s New King,” a label that followed his earlier business notoriety.

Trump wiped out the rest of the sentence in 2025

In March 2025, President Trump commuted Galanis’s prison term. The order also cleared the remaining financial penalties tied to that case.

The White House did not explain the rationale. What the record does show is timing and testimony.

In March 2024, while still behind bars, Galanis testified in the Republican impeachment inquiry into former President Joe Biden. Reporting has described him as an associate of Hunter Biden.

That sequence matters. A convicted fraudster linked to Hunter Biden’s orbit spoke to House Republicans under oath, then later received clemency from Trump.

Her parents walked the same clemency path

Savannah Chrisley’s family already knew federal court the hard way. Todd Chrisley, 57, and Julie Chrisley, 53, built their fame on “Chrisley Knows Best.”

In June 2022 a jury convicted them of conspiring to defraud banks and evade federal taxes. In November 2022 Todd drew 12 years in federal prison. Julie received seven years. Both faced supervised release after prison.

Trump pardoned the couple in May 2025. The pardon also erased the supervised-release requirement.

Savannah had spent years pushing criminal justice reform and fighting for their release. That fight pulled her into Trump’s 2024 campaign. The family that once faced long federal terms later received presidential relief, and now her fiancé has too.

Age-gap noise missed the Biden-world thread

Online critics fixed on the 27-year difference. Chrisley answered that point directly and moved on.

The documented trail is heavier than romance gossip. Galanis’s 2020 sentence, the tens of millions tied to the tribe-and-investor scheme, the $80 million forfeiture and restitution orders, the 2024 impeachment-inquiry testimony from prison, the Hunter Biden association, and the March 2025 commutation all sit on the public record.

So do the Chrisleys’ 2022 fraud and tax convictions, their multi-year sentences, and their May 2025 pardons. Savannah’s pregnancy announcement simply put both storylines under one roof.

Hollywood can clutch its pearls over an age gap. Voters watching Hunter Biden’s circle keep seeing familiar names surface in fraud files, sworn testimony, and clemency paperwork, and they are not looking away.
