Halloween attraction worker jailed as Bucks County prosecutors hunt for more sex assault victims

A Pennsylvania man faces upgraded sex assault charges after prosecutors say he attacked women at a haunted Halloween attraction and a retail store, and detectives believe more victims exist.

Fox News reported that Edward Eisenhard, 38, is behind bars in Bucks County after prosecutors charged him in connection with sexual assaults on three female victims, including one younger than 12.

Investigators say the alleged attacks stretched from a popular haunted hayride to a Five Below store and a private home, and they are urging other possible victims to come forward.

District Attorney Joe Khan described Eisenhard in stark terms at a news conference and asked that he be held without bail after the charges were upgraded.

Opening night at Valley of Fear turned violent, complaint says

Prosecutors place one alleged assault on September 25, the opening night of Valley of Fear, a haunted hayride attraction in Feasterville, Pennsylvania.

A criminal complaint account says Eisenhard approached an employee working alone while he was on a break. The filing describes a sudden, physical attack.

According to the complaint language reported by Fox News, he “grabbed the victim tightly by her throat to the point that she had difficulty breathing, pinned both of her wrists above her head against a wall, made sexual comments, and indecently assaulted her over her clothing.”

Valley of Fear fired him the next day.

Fox News Digital reached out to the attraction for comment.

Two days after the firing, a second workplace assault is alleged

The case did not end with that termination.

Prosecutors say that two days after he lost the hayride job, Eisenhard sexually assaulted a victim again, this time at a Five Below in Hilltown Township, where he also worked.

Investigators say he restrained and sexually assaulted the woman in a back stockroom while she cleaned. The victim told investigators he was her boss there.

Fox News Digital also sought comment from Five Below.

Bucks County District Attorney’s Office detectives later said they found additional allegations of this kind of behavior at both of his workplaces.

Child victim reported at a Springfield Township home

The workplace cases are only part of what prosecutors laid out.

Investigators say Eisenhard also “repeatedly” abused and sexually assaulted a victim under 12 years old at a home in Springfield Township.

That allegation places a child among the three female victims named in the charging picture prosecutors have described publicly.

No full public roster of formal charge titles and statutes appeared in the reporting, and the victims’ identities were not released in the account.

DA calls the suspect a dangerous repeat sex offender

Khan did not soften the stakes when he spoke Tuesday.

"There are real monsters in the world."

He also labeled Eisenhard a “highly dangerous recidivistic sex offender.”

That language matters because it is how the county’s top prosecutor framed the risk to the public while asking a court to keep Eisenhard locked up.

After the charges were upgraded Thursday, the district attorney’s office requested that he be held without bail.

Arrested October 1 and still unable to post bail

Authorities arrested Eisenhard on October 1.

He could not post bail after that arrest and remained in jail as the case moved forward.

The upgrade in charges and the no-bail request followed the earlier detention, tightening the custody picture prosecutors want while the investigation continues.

Detectives say they expect more victims to surface

Bucks County detectives have not treated the three known alleged victims as the end of the story.

They have told the public they “strongly believe that there are additional victims.”

"strongly believe that there are additional victims."

That appeal is a direct call for other people who may recognize the pattern, workplace isolation, sudden restraint, sexual violence, to contact law enforcement.

Prosecutors in Bucks County say the alleged serial pattern ties together the haunted attraction, the retail stockroom, and the Springfield Township home.

The public warning is plain: the office thinks the known cases may not be the full list.

What remains unanswered

Major pieces of the court file still were not laid out in detail in the public reporting.

The complete charge list, case number, and full complaint text were not published in the account. The exact bail figure he failed to post was not stated. Absolute calendar dates for the Tuesday news conference and Thursday upgrade were given only as weekdays.

Valley of Fear and Five Below had not provided on-the-record responses beyond the outreach noted by Fox News Digital.

What is on the record is severe enough on its own: three alleged female victims, a child among them, two workplace scenes, a home assault allegation, an October 1 arrest, upgraded charges, and a district attorney asking that a man he calls a highly dangerous repeat sex offender stay locked up without bail.

When a county prosecutor warns that real monsters walk among us, and detectives say they expect more victims, the only decent response is swift custody, full investigation, and a court process that puts the safety of women and children first.
