According to Breitbart, Turner's organization discovered that at least eight major climate-related executive actions were allegedly signed using an autopen machine without proper presidential authorization. Turner characterized these findings as not just criminal but "evil" acts that devastated American livelihoods.

Power the Future's investigation focused specifically on energy and climate policies, including Biden's January 6 offshore drilling ban and March 2023 arctic drilling ban. However, their findings align with a March 2025 Heritage Foundation report that found virtually every document bearing Biden's signature throughout his presidency, except his campaign withdrawal announcement, showed identical autopen markings.

Presidential impersonation allegations

Turner's accusations extend far beyond simple procedural violations. Speaking on Breitbart News Saturday, he argued that White House staff engaged in criminal impersonation of the president when they used the autopen to implement major policy decisions. Turner emphasized that such actions carry serious legal consequences that cannot be shielded by presidential immunity.

The energy expert outlined the elaborate process required for autopen use, noting that multiple personnel must be involved in drafting documents, operating the secured machine, and authorizing signatures. Turner specifically mentioned that the chief of staff and staff secretary would necessarily know about these processes, suggesting a coordinated effort rather than isolated incidents.

Turner connected these alleged violations to real-world consequences, particularly regarding the liquified natural gas export ban. He argued that this policy forced Russia to increase natural gas sales to other countries, effectively undermining sanctions and prolonging the war in Ukraine through unintended economic consequences.

House Speaker Mike Johnson previously claimed that Biden appeared unaware he had signed the LNG export ban during an early 2024 meeting. Turner seized on this revelation as evidence that even Biden's political instincts would have prevented such a decision, particularly given Pennsylvania's importance in presidential elections and its natural gas industry.

Former cabinet officials corroborated concerns about Biden's accessibility in CNN's recent exposé "Original Sin." One unnamed cabinet secretary told authors Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson that the cabinet "didn't have access" to Biden "for months" and described a deliberate White House strategy to limit presidential interactions.

Turner specifically targeted former Interior Secretary Deb Haaland, who is currently running for New Mexico governor.
