From day one, Donald Trump has railed against the United Nations (UN).
Trump has maintained that the United States has always paid too much to support the UN while other countries get a free ride. He has also questioned the UN's loyalties, and it turns out he was right.

There are 193 nations involved in the United Nations, and every nation is supposed to pay its fair share based on its annual spending budget. The problem, however, is that the United States has and continues to pay significantly more than any other nation.
While Donald Trump once supported the United Nations, his opinion of the organization started to evolve going back to 2011 when the UN was ignoring Iran's nuclear program, a clear threat to Israel. He got much harsher on the UN in 2016, stating:
"Which brings me to my next point, the utter weakness and incompetence of the United Nations. The United Nations is not a friend of democracy, it's not a friend to freedom, it's not a friend even to the United States of America where, as you know, it has its home. And it surely is not a friend to Israel."
Trump also addressed the funding issue after winning the presidency, stating:
"The United States, just one of 193 countries in the U.N., pays for 22 percent of the budget and almost 30 percent of the United Nations peacekeeping, which is unfair.
"I also want to say to you that I have long felt the United Nations is an underperformer but has tremendous potential. There are those people that think it's an underperformer and will never perform."
Trump received considerable criticism for his comments about the United Nations, but he was right on all fronts. After Trump threatened to pull funding, other nations finally started to pay their fair share, with those nations now contributing record highs. He was also right about the anti-Israel faction of the UN.
To that last point, this week, it was announced that the United Nations was firing nine workers involved in the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) for having likely participated in the planning of the October 7 attack by Hamas against Israel. This literally means that terrorists have infiltrated the United Nations. Farhan Haq, spokesperson for the U.N. secretary announced:
"For nine people, the evidence was sufficient to conclude that they may have been involved in the 7th of October attacks."
There were 19 suspected workers, but the investigation only found enough evidence to link the nine terminated employees. Head of the UNRWA, Phillippe Lazzarini, stated:
"I have decided that in the case of these remaining nine staff members, they cannot work for UNRWA. All contracts of these staff members will be terminated in the interest of the Agency."
If you ask me, the United States should defund UNRWA entirely, but Joe Biden has gone the opposite route. After taking office, he restored funding and promised to pay all funding that had been held back during the Trump administration. He is literally funding a terrorist organization, and Biden just does not seem to care. America Last… a policy that will surely continue if Kamala Harris is elected in November.
