Tucker Carlson has changed since leaving Fox News, and it is not for the better.
Carlson appears to have gone full-blown conspiracy, now even pushing a possible assassination attempt on Donald Trump.
When Tucker Carlson and Fox News parted ways, Carlson put out a video on X that he would soon be starting his own platform. He also noted that he would be getting away from things he did not know much about, including trying to predict elections.
It seemed like it would be a fresh start for Carlson and an opportunity to win back viewers he had lost toward the end of his time at Fox News. Tucker, however, has gone off the deep end, pitching bizarre conspiracy theories as well as reversing his own narrative on Trump.
Carlson is clearly now behind Trump, which is why I find it rather odd that he, for the second time, put out a narrative that could actually hurt Trump… and that is that he sees an assassination attempt against Trump possibly taking place.
Tucker recently sat down with Dan Bongino, another major Trump supporter on the airwaves, and explained what he believes the next move by Democrats will be to stop Trump. He stated:
“If you felt, and you really believe it, and a lot of them do, that the worst thing that could happen to the country, and more specifically, to you in the professional class is to have Donald Trump as president — and everything you have tried has failed, and they have been accelerating steps – protests, impeachment, indictment – like, how many more arrows do you have in your quiver? And what’s the next one? And, of course, it’s assassination.”
TUCKER ON TRUMP: “They started with protests. They moved to impeachment. Now they're at indictment. None of it has worked. What's next? ... What could possibly be next? And of course, it's assassination.”

In this day and age, we all know people get crazy ideas from listening to people online and on TV. This seems like a bit of a reach to me, but now I am actually fearful that Tucker Carlson has put the idea into some whackos head to assassinate Trump.
Whether you support Trump or not, I doubt anyone actually wants to see the man assassinated and to make that jump seems a bit out of line and rather dramatic to me.
I honestly have no idea what has happened to Carlson, as he was about as good as it got just a few years ago, then he really started to embrace conspiracy theories, of which he used to be very critical and still pretends to be critical of now, yet he has pitched some pretty bizarre narratives since going out on his own. If you don't believe it, check out his recent interview with Candace Owens, who really seems to have gone off the deep end as of late.
This is now the second time that I have heard Carlson push this assassination narrative. So, is there credible information that someone is going to try to assassinate Trump, or is this Carlson just making an outlandish claim in the mold of someone like Alex Jones or Dick Morris, who say outrageous things in the hopes that one of them comes true so they can tout it?
