Trump Unveils Additional Top White House Aides Ahead Of Inauguration

 January 6, 2025

President-elect Donald Trump continues to assemble his administration team with new appointments to crucial White House positions.

According to The Hill, Trump has selected Stanley Woodward, a prominent Washington attorney, to serve as senior counselor on the White House legal team, working in close coordination with incoming chief of staff Susie Wiles.

Woodward brings significant experience to the role, having represented several Trump associates, including valet Walt Nauta, as well as individuals charged in connection with the January 6, 2021, Capitol attack.

His legal background includes co-founding the Washington-based Brand Woodward Law and previous work at a multinational law firm, where he handled cases involving international corporations and violations of the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.

Strategic Appointments Strengthen Trump Administration Core Team

Robert Gabriel Jr., a former associate producer for Fox News's "The Ingraham Angle," has been appointed as assistant to the president for policy.

Gabriel's experience includes serving as an adviser to Trump's Save America Leadership PAC, demonstrating his alignment with Trump's political initiatives. His return to the White House marks a continuation of his involvement in Trump's inner circle.

Nicholas Luna, previously associated with Vice President-elect JD Vance's team, has been named deputy chief of staff for strategic implementation. Luna's appointment comes with significant responsibilities, including oversight of Presidential scheduling and coordination of White House messaging and operations. His selection reflects Trump's confidence in his capabilities and past experience.

Trump praised Luna's capabilities in the announcement, stating:

Nicholas Luna is a highly respected White House veteran and a Trump-Vance campaign warrior who will oversee Presidential scheduling, and ensure that external White House messaging, outreach, and operations are aligned with the administration's short- and long-term objectives.

William Harrison Brings International Diplomacy Experience to Operations Role

William "Beau" Harrison's appointment as assistant to the president and deputy chief of staff for operations adds another experienced figure to Trump's team. Harrison's previous tenure in Trump's first White House term established him as a crucial liaison within the Executive Office of the President. His international experience includes leading U.S. delegations to various countries.

Trump highlighted Harrison's diplomatic achievements, noting:

He led multiple U.S. delegations across the globe in countries such as North Korea, Iraq, and Afghanistan, and played a critical role in planning each of the historic summits with DPRK Leader Kim Jong-Un.

Harrison's appointment underscores Trump's focus on maintaining experienced personnel in key operational roles. His background in international relations and previous White House experience positions him well for the responsibilities ahead in the incoming administration.

Strategic Vision Takes Shape Through Key Appointments

The latest round of White House appointments reflects President-elect Trump's strategic approach to building his administration team ahead of the January 20 inauguration. Stanley Woodward joins the legal team as a senior counselor, bringing extensive experience in high-profile cases and international corporate law.

The appointments of Robert Gabriel Jr., Nicholas Luna, and William Harrison complete a roster of experienced officials who will oversee various aspects of White House operations, from policy implementation to strategic messaging and diplomatic relations. These selections demonstrate Trump's emphasis on combining seasoned White House veterans with trusted allies from his previous administration and campaign.
