Trump Clashes With Greene, Revokes Support Over Party Betrayal

 November 15, 2025, NEWS

President Donald Trump has unleashed a firestorm against Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., in a feud that’s rocking the Republican ranks.

This clash, boiling over on social media platforms like Truth Social and X, centers on Trump accusing Greene of betraying the entire GOP, pulling his endorsement, and promising to back a challenger in 2026, while Greene fires back over issues like the Epstein files, as Fox News reports.

The drama kicked off on a recent Friday when Trump announced on Truth Social that he was withdrawing his support and endorsement of Greene, a once-stalwart ally since she entered Congress in 2021.

Trump's Harsh Words for Greene

He didn’t hold back, branding her with nicknames like “Lightweight Congresswoman” and “Wacky Marjorie,” while calling her a “ranting lunatic” who’s turned to the left.

Trump also took aim at her appearance on “The View” on Nov. 4, 2025, where co-hosts suggested she was shifting leftward—a claim she denied, but one Trump echoed with a sneer, labeling her a “RINO” (Republican In Name Only).

By Saturday, Trump doubled down on Truth Social, claiming Greene was whining about him not returning her calls, though he dismissed the idea of chatting daily with someone he sees as unhinged amidst his busy schedule with Congress and Cabinet duties.

Greene's Defense and Counterattack

Greene, not one to sit quietly, responded on X that same Saturday, thanking supporters for reaching out during this public spat.

She shared screenshots of her “Liberty Score” from Conservative Review, boasting an “A” grade compared to Sen. Lindsey Graham’s “F,” as if to prove her conservative credentials remain untarnished.

Adding fuel to the fire, Greene posted a graphic from “AIPAC Tracker” showing she’s received no donations from the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, hinting at deeper political pressures behind Trump’s attacks.

Epstein Files at the Heart of Conflict

The Epstein files emerged as a flashpoint, with Greene claiming Trump’s harsh words stem from her push to release these documents, which she believes implicate powerful figures like Bill and Hillary Clinton.

She shared screenshots of texts she allegedly sent to Trump, urging a focus on the flight logs and the victims of Jeffrey Epstein, while accusing him of trying to block the files’ release ahead of a vote the following week.

“I never thought that fighting to release the Epstein files, defending women who were victims of rape, and fighting to expose the web of rich powerful elites would have caused this, but here we are,” Greene posted on X, suggesting a conspiracy of silence. Her words drip with disappointment, yet they raise questions about what’s really at stake—truth, or political gamesmanship?

Trump's Vow to Challenge Greene

Trump, meanwhile, isn’t just tossing insults; he’s vowed “complete and unyielding support” for a challenger to Greene in 2026, signaling this feud won’t fizzle out anytime soon.

His Truth Social rant painted her as a traitor to the party, a far cry from the fierce supporter she’s been since 2021, leaving many to wonder if this split reflects deeper fractures in the MAGA movement. It’s a stark reminder that loyalty in politics can turn on a dime.

Greene, for her part, insists she’s not bowing to any leader over her faith or duty to her Georgia district, pushing back against Trump’s narrative with a defiance that’s both principled and prickly. “But I don’t worship or serve Donald Trump. I worship God, Jesus is my Savior, and I serve my district, GA14, and the American people,” she declared on X. While her stance might resonate with some, it’s a risky play to stand against a figure as towering as Trump in Republican circles.
