A contentious battle over mail-in ballot applications in Pennsylvania's Bucks County leads to a significant court ruling ahead of the upcoming election.
According to Fox News, the Trump campaign achieved a legal victory when a Pennsylvania court issued an injunction extending the deadline for mail-in ballot applications.
The ruling came after officials in Bucks County allegedly turned away voters who were waiting in line to submit their applications before the original deadline.
The injunction allows voters to apply for and obtain mail-in ballots until the close of business on November 1. This extension provides three additional days for residents of Bucks County, a crucial suburban area outside Philadelphia, to participate in the early voting process.
The lawsuit, filed by the Trump campaign against the Bucks County Board of Elections, claimed that officials violated the Pennsylvania Elections Code. The violation occurred when voters were denied the opportunity to apply for mail-in ballots after 5 p.m. on October 29, despite being in line before the deadline.
RNC Chair Michael Whatley shared his thoughts on the victory:

The Board of Elections has requested clarification regarding the special injunction, specifically about operating hours and location details for the extended period.
Video evidence shared with news outlets showed Bucks County Emergency Services Police directing voters away from centers in Quakertown and Doylestown before the official closing time. Reports indicated that new arrivals were turned away as early as 2:45 p.m., more than two hours before the scheduled deadline.
The situation prompted immediate responses from various officials, including Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro, who emphasized that counties must provide opportunities for ballot applications to anyone in line by 5 p.m.
Trump campaign spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt noted that similar incidents had occurred in other parts of the state, including Delaware County.
The Republican National Committee and Republican Senate candidate Dave McCormick's campaign joined forces with the Trump campaign in the lawsuit. This legal action is part of a broader strategy involving more than 130 election integrity lawsuits across the country.
RNC Chair Whatley expressed strong concerns about the initial handling of voters, stating that turning away eligible voters was "extraordinarily problematic" regardless of their political affiliation.
