For the most part, Donald Trump and his surrogates have been sitting on their hands, allowing this Biden train to run off the tracks.
That is about to change, just not in the way we would have expected Trump to react in 2016 or 2020.

As we noted in our last report, there is a big problem for the Biden campaign right now regarding Joe Biden's mental readiness while in office. The sad news about this is that Joe Biden himself is creating more problems than solutions on this front. His joke fell flat regarding it being "just my brain." Biden also raised concerns after having openly told Democrat governors that he will now schedule all events before 8:00 p.m. so he can get more rest and be ready to go.
As bad as that was, the report that first surfaced in the New York Magazine, which cited sources within Biden's inner circle, outlined how Jill Biden has been whispering details into Joe Biden's ear during events because Biden has even started to forget the names of people he has known for decades.
I have always pointed the finger at Jill Biden in this regard as the one pushing Joe Biden to stay in this race. But if that New York Magazine report is accurate, she clearly knows that Joe Biden has the onset of dementia or Alzheimer's, but instead of getting him the help he needs, she is pushing forward to remain in power. And make no mistake about it… Jill Biden is the de facto president right now.
While Trump has had a few bursts on Truth Social, for the most part, he has allowed this Biden train to run off the tracks on its own. The Democrat Party has started to target Biden, and the media has had enough of the administration hiding information regarding Joe Biden's health. The briefing earlier this week, in which Ed O'Keefe started to openly challenge Karine Jean-Pierre, was reminiscent of how the media treated the Trump campaign on a daily basis, which was good to see.
We all know that at some point, Trump is going to have to use this for his campaign, and the word now is that Trump is about to drop a significant ad buy to bring to light Biden's mental cognizance. To that point, a report broke on Tuesday that Trump will "lay out an indictment" on his claim against Democrats to cover up Biden's mental decline. The report stated:
"[Donald Trump will] "press the case that Biden and the Democrats, with the collusion of mainstream media, have perpetrated a fraud and cover-up on the nation by claiming that Biden is fit to serve."
The Biden campaign immediately responded to the report by trying to flip the script to make it appear as though Trump was the one on the mental decline. Biden campaign spokesperson Sarafina Chitika stated:
"Donald Trump must be confused. The only candidate who has been indicted, charged, impeached, and criminally convicted is Donald Trump."
These attempts at humor to flip the narrative by the Biden campaign instead of actually addressing the issue are falling flat. This is now a very serious issue, especially after that report from the New York Magazine, which was reportedly a story that took about a year for the author to put together, so this is clearly not an issue that just popped up.
I have definitely taken my shots at Biden, including some humorous quips, but this is not anything that is remotely funny. This is now about the national security of this country, something Biden has put at risk with his mental cognizance issue. Do I want Kamala Harris to be this country's first female president, even by elevating her via the 25th Amendment? Absolutely not, but I cannot be sure, even with only a few months remaining in the term, that Biden is up for this job and could handle a real crisis.
What if our enemies decide to attack, and we need a president who can be up and alert for 20 hours a day? Does anyone in this country really think we can trust Biden to make the split-second decisions that would be needed? In my head, I just see Biden being walked into the strategy room by Jill Biden, planted in a seat, and then staring blankly at everyone speaking while Jill Biden actually calls the shots. Hopefully, that situation will never become a reality, but we need to ensure that by January, that man will be out of the White House.
