Democratic vice-presidential candidate Tim Walz recently appeared on "The View" to address controversies over statements he made about his past experiences.
In response to allegations of past misstatements, Walz acknowledged minor inaccuracies but underlined his overall honesty, Fox News reported.
During the interview, Tim Walz faced scrutiny for previously claiming to have been in Hong Kong during the 1989 Tiananmen Square protests and for specific comments about his military service record. Responding to the allegations, Walz conceded, "If it’s stating, you know, in Hong Kong in August of '89, 35 years ago. I think people do separate that between a pathological liar like Donald Trump."
