We apparently have a commander-in-chief who is only capable of working about a third of the hours we would typically see a president work.
Reports leaked from Biden's White House aides say he is only “dependably engaged” between 10 am and 4 pm.

Heading into the debate, most of the election momentum was on Biden’s side. He had finally taken the lead in national polling over Trump. This was mainly due to the strength of independent voters after the Trump conviction. While Biden was still trailing in most battleground states, he had made up significant ground, with most of those states close to the margin of error, making this race a virtual toss-up. Then came the debate.
This debate was everything for both of these candidates. Trump needed to get Biden off his mark and remain calm while doing so. Biden needed to show the American people that he was mentally fit to hold the office. Trump succeeded… Biden did not.
Biden started to struggle just 13 minutes into the debate, stammering, stuttering, and drawing a blank. This could have been much worse for Biden if Jake Tapper had not saved Biden by killing his microphone during one of his “episodes” during the debate. When Trump was talking, Biden often stared blankly down at his podium or just stared into the camera lens with black eyes. He just looked like an empty vessel.
After the debate, the media was in shock, as if they expected something different from a man who had been acting this way for most of the last two years. Democratic donors started expressing concern, and several major publications wrote editorials suggesting that it was time for Joe Biden to step aside. The problem, however, is that no matter what path the Democrats take now, it spells trouble for their hopes of winning the 2024 election.
Axios released a report that is not going to sit well with anyone. The report cited several White House aides who stated that Biden is only “dependably engaged” from about 10 am to 4 pm during the day. The report stated:
“Internally, many aides have seen flashes of an absent-minded Biden, but typically brush them off as ordinary brain farts because they usually see him engaged.”
The report later added:
“From 10 am to 4 pm, Biden is dependably engaged — and many of his public events in front of cameras are held within those hours.
“Outside of that time range or while traveling abroad, Biden is more likely to have verbal miscues and become fatigued.”
For this reason, when the White House schedules events on the campaign trail for Joe Biden, they try to keep the events during those hours to avoid Biden crashing and burning in public while trying to raise money for his campaign.
People were already questioning whether Joe Biden would be able to handle a second term as president, so this report is not going to help Biden win over the confidence that was shaken on Thursday night. This led to a pivot in the White House's messaging, once again pushing personality over policy.
The new narrative by Democrats is to choose decency over Trump… that’s it, only the Biden family is not a decent family at all. Hunter Biden also happens to be a convicted felon, only his conviction will not be overturned on appeal. Hunter was regularly using escorts and prostitutes, not to mention the drugs, sometimes with money that was sent to him by Joe Biden. Then there is the fact that Joe Biden has ignored his granddaughter, Navy Roberts, who Hunter had with a woman who was a DC stripper when he met her.
As much of a mess as this is, there is no way out for Democrats. If they use the 25th Amendment to take Biden out, then Harris gets elevated and runs as the incumbent, only she is less popular than Joe Biden. Dems can pressure Biden to get out, but they cannot force him. And even if Biden does give in and steps down, then the Democrat electors get to choose the candidate, not the American people, which would enable the GOP to reverse the regular Democrat narrative regarding the “threat to Democracy.” Is there any bigger threat than taking the vote out of the hands of the American people?
