A fatal stampede at a railway station in New Delhi has claimed the lives of 18 individuals, primarily Hindu pilgrims en route to a religious festival, CBS News reported.

Nikhil Kumar described the scene as overwhelming, stating, "The crowd went out of control and no one could control it."
