Photos Surface Linking Biden To Hunter's Chinese Associates

 December 29, 2024

Recently uncovered photos have reignited scrutiny over President Joe Biden's denials of involvement in his son Hunter Biden's business dealings.

According to Fox News, the images and related emails suggest potential connections between Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, and Chinese business associates during Joe Biden’s vice presidency.

Images obtained by America First Legal show then-Vice President Joe Biden meeting Chinese business figures during a 2013 trip to China. The photos reportedly feature Jonathan Li and Ming Xue, business executives associated with Hunter Biden, and show Joe Biden introducing Hunter to high-ranking Chinese officials, including Xi Jinping.

Claims Of Delayed Release Emerge

America First Legal alleges the photos were withheld by attorneys representing Joe Biden and former President Barack Obama until after the 2020 election. The organization also contends the Biden family benefited financially from their dealings with BHR Partners, a Chinese investment fund linked to Hunter Biden.

Emails reviewed by the House Oversight Committee suggest Hunter Biden arranged meetings between his father and executives of BHR during the 2013 trip. One email even requested keys for Joe Biden and his wife, Jill Biden, to a shared office with a Chinese energy company chairman.

Hunter Biden has acknowledged introducing his father to Jonathan Li during the China visit, describing the interaction as brief and claiming Joe Biden was unaware of Li’s business role. However, further evidence has raised questions about the nature of these introductions.

Email Exchanges Raise Financial Questions

Among the emails examined, Hunter Biden reportedly extended warm regards on behalf of his family while requesting a $10 million wire transfer for a joint venture. Other evidence includes communications where Hunter allegedly facilitated introductions between Chinese business leaders and political figures, including a former Hong Kong governor.

Devon Archer, a former business associate of Hunter Biden, has testified about Joe Biden’s participation in at least 20 calls during business meetings. Archer characterized these calls as a way to leverage Joe Biden’s position to bolster business dealings. President Joe Biden has consistently denied involvement in or knowledge of Hunter’s business arrangements. In a 2019 statement during his presidential campaign, he asserted, “I have never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings.”

Pardon Adds Complexity To Ongoing Investigations

Earlier this month, President Biden issued a pardon for Hunter Biden, covering potential offenses committed since 2014. Critics of the pardon have questioned its timing amid ongoing investigations into the Biden family's business activities.

In response to criticism, Joe Biden defended his decision, citing personal and political attacks targeting his family. “In trying to break Hunter, they’ve tried to break me,” he remarked while asserting that the pardon was necessary to end what he described as unfair scrutiny.

Peter Schweizer, a journalist and author, called the newly surfaced photos “incredibly damning,” arguing they challenge Joe Biden’s public denials of involvement. Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton suggested the revelations demonstrate China’s influence over the Biden family.

Critics Demand Full Transparency

Michael Ding, legal counsel for America First Legal, has pledged to continue uncovering details of the Biden family’s dealings. The organization maintains that the evidence points to a significant pattern of financial and political entanglements.

GOP Rep. Eric Burlison described the photos as the “Biden Crime Family Christmas card,” a remark echoing partisan frustrations. Critics from both sides of the aisle have called for greater transparency in evaluating the claims. The House Oversight Committee is reportedly continuing its investigation into the Biden family’s international business relationships, with particular focus on evidence tying Joe Biden to Hunter’s activities abroad.

The revelations underscore renewed debates about the intersection of personal and political dealings within the Biden family. Amid mounting scrutiny, critics argue the emerging evidence warrants deeper investigation.
