Born in Pinehurst and raised in Southern Pines, George Little was a devoted son of North Carolina. He cultivated his foundational skills and values at UNC Chapel Hill before venturing into a series of impactful roles in the state. In a noteworthy political career, George Little was integral to elevating North Carolina’s political landscape. His support was crucial in the election of Gov. Jim Holshouser in 1972, marking a pivotal shift in the state's leadership.
