I have pulled no punches in regard to the fact that I think Joe Biden is at the bottom of the totem pole when it comes to who is actually calling the shots in the White House.
The sheer number of former Obama officials in this administration gave me pause for concern from the very first day.
After hearing Newt Gingrich speak, it is clear that I am not alone.
To this point, Joe Biden has refused to take any type of mental health tests, and for good reason.
We know Joe is having problems, and he as well as Democrats surely do not want that confirmed with any formal testing that would have to be made public.
It took a hot minute, but the American people are clearly starting to see that as well, with Joe Biden underwater on the subject in recent polling.
Well, this is a complicated question that has quite a few answers.
First and foremost, my belief is that Jill Biden is the "de facto" president right now.
Biden's former Chief of Staff, Ron Klein, was definitely setting policy for Joe, as is Susan Rice.
I would bet just about anything that Rice has a Bat Phone to Obama to discuss every decision being made, and leans into Joe's left ear with orders from Obama.
Let's not forget that interview where Obama said if he could run the country from his basement in sweats without having to be the frontman, he would love to have a third term.
Well, that is pretty much what I believe we are seeing here.
Gingrich made a key point that Barack Obama is the first president since Woodrow Wilson to keep a home in DC after leaving office.
When you add that to the deep presence of former Obama staffers, the water is no longer so murky.
“My personal guess is that the driving force behind the Biden administration is Barack Obama. Obama is the only president since Woodrow Wilson to stay in Washington.
“So, the fact that Obama’s here all the time, and the fact that his staff permeates, literally permeates, the Biden administration, and Obama is really, really smart. Whatever Biden’s problems are at being kind of slow and cognitively decaying, Obama doesn’t have any of those problems.”
As I noted at the very beginning of this report, I just do not think that Biden is the main shot-caller, and I don't think he really ever was.
Don't get me wrong… Biden needed to run to protect his family, specifically Hunter Biden, but that was about as far as his involvement went.
I think Joe was backed by the party on the premise that he could block investigations, but he was going to take his orders from other people.
It sounds crazy, but just look at the number of times Biden fired from the hip, especially early on, and the White House went into scramble mode to walk back what Joe said.
This is all about finding out who is playing Oz behind the curtain, and eight out of 10 fingers point to Obama is some shape or form.
