National Polling: Biden Too Old for Office

 September 4, 2023

One would think that Democrats have to have someone better than Joe Biden to put on the ballot in 2024, but that is simply not the case.

Hillary, Kamala, Newsom… it just does not matter because Biden is somehow polling better than all of them.

Having said that, national numbers have Biden overwhelmingly underwater, and one of the biggest disapproval numbers Biden is seeing is regarding his age, where the overwhelming majority of Americans, including Democrats, believe he is just too old to run for office again.

Talking Points…

  • National polling by the numbers
  • Biden weak points
  • What the people are saying
  • My Two Cents…

Biden by the Numbers

I do not believe there is a single issue where Biden is above water right now. His economic, foreign policy, and crime numbers are all horrific, but not quite as bad as his age numbers.

The latest polling showed that 77 percent of Americans believe that Biden is too old to run for office, with Democrats coming in at 69 percent.

Trump is not in the clear on this, but he only comes in around 50 percent, so his campaign can definitely hit this angle if they so choose.

I think Americans are making it clear, however, that they want leadership in both parties to start shipping out the fossils and bring in some new blood.

Biden Weak Points

Age is obviously going to hurt Biden, and he is not helping himself with all of these gaffes, as well as the White House walking back policy announcements that he makes.

People are also starting to realize just how much of a liar Joe Biden is, and that is finally taking away from his trustworthy numbers.

Biden’s biggest mistake, however, is the constant hammering that his policies are working for the economy when more than 60 percent of Americans are living from check to check right now, with virtually no cushion in the bank.

Biden is putting lipstick on a pig and trying to sell it as though it is a champion thoroughbred, and the American people are no longer buying it.

What the People are Saying

Noah Burden, a 28-year-old communications consultant in Alexandria, Virginia, stated:

“They’re too old overall,” Burden said. That older generation represents “a sense of values and sense of the country and the world that just isn’t accurate anymore. It can be dangerous to have that view.”

Greg Pack, 62, a past and possibly future Trump voter in Ardmore, Oklahoma, added:

“Just watching and listening to Biden it’s pretty self-evident he is not what he was.”

On Trump, he said:

“He is a lot sharper but at the end of his term, who knows? I’m just ready for someone younger.”

Eric Dezenhall, 60, a corporate scandal-management consultant, stated:

“Biden just seems to be very compromised by age-related conditions. Even people who like him see him as being frail and not altogether ‘there.’”

My Two Cents…

I have been saying for years that we need to put term limits in Congress and/or have cognizant testing for Supreme Court justices, members of Congress, and yes, the presidency.

There are literally dozens of officials well past retirement age in our government and we continue to allow them to call the shots when they cannot even relate to the average American right now, yet people continue to pull the handle for them.

For all the complaining everyone does about Nancy Pelosi, put her on the ballot in 2024 and I guarantee you that she gets re-elected, and that is our fault because this happens in both parties, and you only need to look at Chuck Grassley and Mitch McConnell to prove that.

The people of this country have to take their right to vote more seriously, and if that means challenging a six-time incumbent in the Senate, then that is what we do.
