Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has pulled out from the Obama Presidential Library in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.

The library, under the stewardship of the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), currently houses approximately 25 million unclassified paper documents and 35,000 physical artifacts.

Officials plan to move all artifacts and documents from the Hoffman Estates site to College Park, Maryland, by September 30, 2025. This move aligns with the library's relocation plans and coincides with the end of Fiscal Year 2025.
