MTG Calls for Biden to Resign

 October 23, 2023

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene urges President Joe Biden to step down following the emergence of evidence suggesting his involvement in a money laundering scheme.

This comes after the House Oversight Committee disclosed evidence of a $200,000 payment made to Biden by his brother, James Biden. Greene labels this transaction as "money laundering".

Greene, in her conversation with Breitbart, stated, "We finally have direct evidence of money laundering." She detailed a $200,000 check addressed to Joe Biden from Jim Biden. This payment coincided with the day Jim Biden received a similar amount from a foreign investment.

Greene's Strong Stance on the Allegations

Greene, who is part of the committee, expressed her concerns, saying, "He should resign." She believes that if Biden doesn't step down voluntarily, impeachment should be on the table.

Furthermore, she expects the Department of Justice to press charges, citing the evidence as proof of criminal activity.

She emphasized that this is merely the beginning. According to her, more evidence linking Joe Biden to such activities will surface in the future.

Describing the $200,000 transaction as "elaborate", Greene compared the Bidens' alleged activities to those of common criminals.

She explained a typical money laundering scheme where a failing company is purchased or invested in, and money is funneled through it via illicit means. In this scenario, she alleges that the Bidens capitalized on Joe's influence and power, leading to significant financial gains.

Financial Gains Under the Spotlight

The committee's investigations have so far unveiled that the Bidens' business ventures have accumulated around 20 million dollars, Breitbart reported.

Greene alleges that they channeled millions through these companies, paying themselves and even Joe Biden, under the guise of "loan repayments". She believes this is a tactic to conceal money and payments, and that any IRS investigator could easily expose this.

Greene's sentiments were clear, "He should be indicted. He should be … going to jail."

James Comer (R-GA), the chair of the House Oversight Committee, disclosed that Joe Biden personally accepted money from his family's overseas business ventures. This is despite Biden having denied any involvement in these businesses on multiple occasions.

Complex Financial Dealings Revealed

Comer shed light on the intricate financial dealings of the Biden family. In 2018, James Biden secured $600,000 in loans from Americore, a struggling rural hospital operator.

James Biden allegedly received these loans based on the promise that his surname, "Biden", could facilitate business opportunities and that he could secure significant investments from the Middle East due to his political connections.

On March 1, 2018, Americore transferred a $200,000 loan to the personal bank account of James and Sara Biden. On the same day, James Biden issued a $200,000 check to Joe Biden, labeling it as a "loan repayment". Comer finds it concerning that Joe Biden's repayment from his brother was contingent on the success of their questionable financial activities.
