MSNBC’s Joy Reid has been controversial for years, and she just added to her reputation.
Reid has hammered conservatives while propping up Democrats and the Biden administration, but a hot mic moment may have revealed how she truly feels, and it could definitely hurt Biden in the 2024 election.

I doubt Reid has ever had a kind word to say about conservatives, but she always seems willing to stick up for Joe Biden, regardless of how outrageous his actions, at least not on camera. Reid was in the process of ripping Republicans again when she made a comment against Biden, not realizing her mic was still hot. Reid stated:
“Congressional Republicans love to latch on to President Biden and Democrats’ successful policies and take credit for things they didn’t do, while tying themselves into pretzels to do nothing for the American people for the sake of Donald Trump.
“Case in point, fixing what they say is a crisis at the border with congressional negotiators continuing work on a bipartisan deal to tie border policy changes to funding for Ukraine. Over the weekend, President Biden said he’s ready to take action if Congress is serious about solving the border issue.”
Reid then cut to clips of Joe Biden discussing the idea of shutting down the border to curb illegal immigration, when Reid could be heard stating:
“Starting another f*cking war.”
As soon as it became apparent that Reid’s not-PG comments were aired on live TV, she issued an apology for her comments, stating:
“Before we go, I just want to apologize very quickly. I was chatting during a clip that was playing, and you know, we try to keep this show very PG-13. So, I just want to apologize to anyone who was listening to my ‘behind the scenes’ chatter. I deeply, deeply apologize for that.”
Reid has been one of the most biased reporters on TV since Donald Trump took office. The things she has said or implied about Trump and conservatives would have gotten someone else fired, but Reid is always quick to play the race card, which has saved her several times already.
What bothers me the most about this is that she is not willing to go on air to criticize Biden while clearly upset about his foreign policy that continues to put the United States at risk of getting into another war in the Middle East while also supporting two other wars in Ukraine and Israel.
Reid is clearly not telling the entire story, selectively editing out parts that would make Biden look bad while taking every shot possible at conservatives and Donald Trump.
That, of course, does not even take into account the fact she is blatantly ignoring that Biden can shut down that border anytime he wants to, but he wants this legislation to pass so he can claim a win on immigration. Furthermore, it is Republicans in office now who are blocking the legislation, not Donald Trump, as Reid stated. Trump may have expressed his opinion to his supporters in Congress, but he holds no weight right now, so if she wants to attack someone, then talk about the people in office now, not the ones running for office.
One last note on this front… If Biden was serious about fixing the border, why wait until 10 months before the election when we have had more than three years of immigrants coming over the border illegally en masse? This is a political stunt by Biden… nothing more.
