In a television feature on Fox News’s “Fox & Friends,” the former First Lady detailed her initial encounter with Donald Trump, their subsequent relationship milestones including their first date, proposal, and marriage, while also promoting her upcoming memoir and supporting his 2024 presidential campaign, Washington Examiner reported.
The initial meeting between Melania Trump and her future husband took place in the 1990s, shortly after Melania returned from a Caribbean modeling shoot. She followed up on an earlier interaction where she had received his phone number at a party, leading to their first date, which she described as “very special.”
Melania went on to describe the comfort and peace the couple found in their private moments, particularly recalling their first date. "It was very nice because we were two of us, alone in the car for an hour, an hour and a half, and there was no other noise, no other people because at that time he was already known and a celebrity," she detailed.
"So it was nice to be just two of us," Melania reminisced about the quiet moments shared in Donald Trump's company, away from the public eye.
Donald Trump chose an iconic moment for his proposal at the Met Gala in April 2004. The following year, in January, the couple was married, marking what Melania recalls as “a good day.”
