MAGA Rages Over SNL's Vicious Attack On Pete Hegseth: 'Utterly Disgraceful'

Saturday Night Live’s latest sketch didn’t just cross the line—it obliterated it. The comedy show took a vicious swipe at Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, dragging up baseless alcohol rumors he’s repeatedly denied. MAGA supporters are rightfully livid, calling it a new low for woke Hollywood, Daily Mail reported.

This weekend’s SNL skit featured Cecily Strong as Judge Jeanine Pirro and Colin Jost as Hegseth, mocking both with a booze-soaked narrative. The sketch also jabbed at Pirro’s recent appointment as U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, announced by President Donald Trump. It’s a tired playbook: smear conservatives with no regard for truth.

The skit opened with Strong’s Pirro spraying wine in Jost’s Hegseth’s face twice. Hegseth’s character even opened his mouth to catch the spray, a cheap shot at his supposed drinking habits. This is what passes for humor in Manhattan’s elitist circles?

SNL’s Slanderous Portrayal Sparks Fury

“I love Pete Hegseth. He’s my old drinking buddy,” Strong’s Pirro quipped. The line’s a lie wrapped in a laugh track, recycling debunked allegations about Hegseth’s time at Fox News. SNL’s obsession with tearing down patriots is as predictable as it is pathetic.

Jost’s Hegseth also bumbled through a fictional gaffe, claiming he “accidentally added Kim Jong Un to the group chat.” It’s a lazy caricature, painting a decorated veteran as a frat boy. The left loves to mock what they can’t understand: duty and strength.

The sketch leaned hard into Pirro’s new role, portraying her as a Merlot-guzzling judge. Trump, played by James Austin Johnson, called her a “great legal mind” who’s on The Five.” SNL’s snark can’t hide the truth: Pirro’s a fierce conservative voice, not their punchline.

MAGA Slams SNL’s Anti-American Jab

“This is what despicable, disgraceful anti-American TV PROPAGANDA looks like,” one X user fumed. The outrage is justified—SNL didn’t just mock Hegseth; it smeared a man who pledged sobriety during his Pentagon confirmation. Actions have consequences, and Hollywood’s reckoning is overdue.

The skit referenced a March SNL bit that also targeted Hegseth, insinuating he drinks on the job. That earlier sketch mocked a Trump administration blunder involving a group chat with JD Vance and others. Rehashing old lies isn’t comedy; it’s desperation.

“Hey, Pete, you’re not drinking again, are you?” Johnson asked. “No, absolutely not, sir,” Jost’s Hegseth replied, before joking about avoiding bottles but not sprays. The exchange drips with contempt for Hegseth’s integrity.

Critics Call Out SNL’s Lazy Writing

Social media erupted with MAGA supporters slamming the sketch as “pure slander.” One user raged, “Is this what you want your kids growing up watching?” When comedy becomes a weapon for woke agendas, it’s no wonder trust in media is at rock bottom.

Critics also tore into Jost’s portrayal, calling it wildly off-base. “They have never watched a clip of him talking,” one X user noted, comparing Hegseth to a “Sopranos” character, not Jost’s “prep school kid.” SNL’s research team must be on permanent vacation. “SNL has no one that can do a decent Hegseth impersonation,” another user wrote. The lack of effort shows—mocking a veteran’s service with a half-baked impression is beyond lazy. It’s disrespectful.

Pirro’s Appointment Mocked Mercilessly

Strong’s Pirro boasted, “I’m a Whoopi,” comparing herself to The View’s host. Johnson’s Trump agreed, calling her “very tough” on immigration. SNL’s attempt to belittle Pirro’s legal career only highlights her unapologetic conservatism. The sketch also had Pirro brag about sending back restaurant salads, a dig at her immigration stance. “My friends know I’ve sent back every salad I’ve ever ordered,” Strong’s Pirro said. The left’s obsession with trivializing serious policy debates is as tired as their jokes.

“How much longer will they be able to do s*** like this?” one X user demanded. SNL’s days of hiding behind “comedy” while pushing divisive propaganda are numbered. MAGA’s had enough, and their voices are only getting louder.
