One of the bigger concerns regarding the media coverage is that it was covering for Joe Biden.
On Thursday, yet another journalist admitted having scrubbed a Biden interview at his campaign's request.
Talking Points…

More often than not, when Joe Biden does an interview these days, it is taped. His campaign and the media are trying to protect Joe from his gaffes. We have always suspected this, but now a radio station in Wisconsin has admitted that is precisely what took place when it interviewed Biden. The station did two edits at the request of the campaign, one where Biden referred to having put more "blacks" in his administration than any other president.
The interview was for the "The Earl Ingram Show," which aired on Civic Media on July 3. This is the same network that had earlier announced that the Biden campaign had provided the show with the questions it wanted Igram to ask Biden. About five minutes into the interview, Biden claimed:
"… and in addition to that, I have more blacks in my administration than any other president, all other presidents combined, and in major positions, cabinet positions."
The second edit came about 10 minutes later, cutting Biden's comment regarding Donald Trump's comments about the case. Biden had stated:
"I don't know if they even call for their hanging or not, but he — but they said […] convicted of murder."
The radio station justified the edits by stating that they believed the edits were "non-substantive." It added that it was making this information available in "the interest of transparency." The network added:
"The decision to make the requested edits to the interview was made in good faith.
"While we disagree with the decision, we stand by our team. This has been a learning experience and we will do better moving forward."
CNN host Michael Smerconish was among those who shredded the Biden campaign and radio station for working together to scrub the interview. Smerconish said that if a campaign had ever asked him to scrub an interview:
"The answer is hell no! We should have run it live."
This is not good for the journalist or the Biden campaign that this is getting out, especially when you consider how much heat Biden is taking right now regarding this mental fitness. If Biden is not only giving the questions to reporters or being told what the questions are, it kind of defeats the purpose of the interview.
Biden did the same thing during his "Big Boy" interview when he pulled a list out that he said he had been given to call on people. As I have noted before, we are fairly close to having state-run media in this country, which is quite dangerous.
