According to Daily Mail, Joe Rogan strongly refuted claims made in a new book that his team deliberately created obstacles during interview booking attempts with Vice President Harris, stating he possesses evidence to prove otherwise.

Harris's deputy campaign manager, Rob Flaherty, expressed growing frustration with what he perceived as continuous roadblocks from Rogan's team. The campaign attempted to schedule an interview for October 25, during Harris's Texas rally with Beyonce. When that date was rejected, citing Rogan's "personal day," they proposed a Saturday morning slot, only to be told it had to be before 8:30 am.
Rogan explained that the October 25 conflict arose from a pre-scheduled UFC fight companion podcast for a major Middle Eastern event that couldn't be rescheduled. He emphasized that his commitment to the UFC event took precedence, stating he couldn't abandon his regular programming for an unconfirmed interview.
The podcast host revealed that Harris's team later offered a 45-minute interview in Washington, DC, which he declined as it didn't align with his show's format. Rogan maintained that his standard requirements included a three-hour unedited interview conducted in his Austin studio.
Rogan addressed the stark difference between booking former President Donald Trump and the failed negotiations with Harris's team. He shared that Trump's booking process was straightforward, with immediate agreement to the proposed date.
Regarding the allegations, Rogan said:
They never agreed to do the show, this is really important. They never said she was going to do it so this whole idea that we f***d her over for Trump. Incorrect. Just not true. I think it's someone trying to cover their ass.
