Jim Carrey has married longtime girlfriend Min Ah in a small private Los Angeles ceremony, the third trip down the aisle for the 64-year-old comedy star.
Page Six reported that the “Yes Man” and “Truman Show” star recently married Min Ah in a low-key Los Angeles wedding after TMZ first flagged the news on Wednesday.
The vows came seven months after the couple’s public debut in Paris, where Carrey accepted an honorary César Award and thanked Min Ah by name in front of the room.
No absolute ceremony date, venue, or guest list beyond the private setting was given. What is clear is the path that led there.
In February, Carrey and Min Ah stepped out together at the César Awards. She sat with his daughter Jane, 38, and his grandson Jackson while he took the stage.
Carrey, 64, delivered part of his acceptance speech in French and made the family thanks plain.
He said:
"Thank you to my wonderful family, my daughter Jane, and my grandson Jackson. I love you now and forever. Thank you to my sublime companion, Min Ah. I love you, Min Ah,"
Online chatter later claimed a “clone” or impersonator had appeared at the awards. His representative, Marleah Leslie, shut that down in a March 2 statement to Page Six.
Leslie said:
"Jim Carrey attended the César Awards, where he accepted his Honorary César Award,"
The pair were first photographed together in February 2022 after leaving a charity comedy show hosted by Judd Apatow at Largo in Los Angeles, People reported at the time.
They kept the relationship mostly off the main stage for years. The honorary award night in Paris was the open introduction. The private Los Angeles wedding closed the circle seven months later.
Min Ah’s full professional background was not detailed in the coverage. Carrey’s history is well known. He first married former actress and Comedy Store waitress Melissa Womer in 1987. They divorced in 1995 and share daughter Jane.
He married “Dumb and Dumber” co-star Lauren Holly in 1996. That marriage ended in 1997 after less than a year. He later dated model and actress Jenny McCarthy from 2005 to 2010, then was linked to “Kidding” co-star Ginger Gonzaga, with a red-carpet debut at a Showtime Golden Globes nominees event in January 2019 before a split later that year.
This is his third marriage. The latest one stayed small, private, and away from the usual Hollywood show.
In an industry that turns every romance into content, a quiet ceremony still looks like the adult choice.
