According to Fox News, Raids at the mayor's residence and city hall are part of an investigation into the misuse of $14 million in public funds.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney, Nathan J. Hochman, disclosed the details of "Operation Dirty Pond" on Wednesday. This corruption investigation centres on the Huntington Park Regional Aquatic Center, a project that never left the planning stages despite the substantial public funds allocated to it.
