Nobody is above the law… how many times have we heard Democrats use that line since 2016?
We are about to find out if that is true with the House having just sent criminal referrals for Hunter and James Biden over to the DOJ.

Over the last few months, Hunter and James Biden testified before several House committees. It was apparent early on that the stories they were telling did not exactly mesh. What was clear, however, was that they were all trying to protect Joe Biden, as though Joe never knew anything about their business deals, but business associates of both men contradicted that testimony.
Lying before Congress is a crime, and it is one that Trump associates have found themselves indicted for in the past. So, keep in mind here that this is a precedent that this administration set to go after allies and supporters of an opposing political figure. Don’t let the media twist this into some revenge campaign by House members to benefit Trump.
After all the testimony was heard, it was very clear that both Hunter and James Biden had lied. Either they lied, or every other witness that came before the committee lied. Based on the Biden family history, I tend to lean toward the other witnesses telling the truth, as did the committee.
This has resulted in criminal referrals being sent to the DOJ for Hunter and James Biden for lying under oath before Congress. The referral cites how Hutner lied about distancing himself from Rosemont Seneca and continues:
"Hunter Biden made additional false statements as to whether he held positions at Rosemont Seneca Bohai, LLC. After deposing Hunter Biden, the Committees obtained documents showing Hunter Biden represented that he was the corporate secretary.
"Additionally, Hunter Biden during his testimony relayed an entirely fictitious account about threatening text messages he sent to his Chinese business partner while invoking his father’s presence with him as he wrote the messages. Hunter Biden told the Oversight Committee and the Judiciary Committee he had transmitted this threat to an unrelated individual with the same surname. However, documents released by the Committee on Ways and Means demonstrate conclusively that Hunter Biden made this threat to the intended individual, and bank records prove Hunter Biden’s Chinese business partners wired millions of dollars to him after his threat."
James Biden also lied, specifically about meetings where he stated Joe Biden did not attend, which was contradictory to the testimony of Tony Bobulinski as well as testimony that Hunter had given. The referral continues:
"Specifically, James Biden stated he did not attend a meeting with Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, and Tony Bobulinski on May 2, 2017, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. These statements were contradicted not only by Mr. Bobulinski, but Hunter Biden.
"Mr. Bobulinski also produced text messages that establish the events leading up to and immediately following his meeting with Joe Biden on May 2, 2017.”
The filing continued:
"Hunter Biden and James Biden made materially false statements to the Oversight Committee and the Judiciary Committee, as demonstrated by the evidence presented in the attached referral.
"The nature of these false statements is not lost on the Committees: every instance implicates Joe Biden’s knowledge of and role in his family’s influence peddling.”
I really don’t care how the media, White House, and Democrats portray this; these charges are legitimate. My only wish is that we had a Republican AG right now because we know the referrals would have resulted in indictments. This, however, puts Merrick Garland in a bind because he has indicted Trump associates with similar referrals from a Democrat-run House. If he declines the referrals, it will clearly look like he is protecting Joe Biden, and another scandal is the last thing that Biden can afford heading into an election.
