The are many reasons to keep our border locked down, only allowing legal immigrants to come into the country, none of which seems to matter to Joe Biden.
To that point, a group of former FBI agents penned a letter to congressional leaders regarding their concern that Biden has put the United States in imminent danger because of his lax border stance.

Since Biden has taken office, virtually every month, he has had either a new record number crossing the border overall or for the given month. That happened again in December, with 302,000 total encounters, with about 250,000 of that coming at the southern border alone.
This was a 23.5% increase over November, as well as being roughly 10% more than the previous overall high of 224,400 that happened in May 2022. Biden could shut this all down anytime he wants, but he refuses, using illegal immigration as a bargaining tool to get additional aid for Ukraine and Israel.
On January 17, House and Senate leaders received a letter from 10 former senior FBI officials, all very critical of Biden’s lax border policies. In part, the letter stated:
“In its modern history, the US has never suffered an invasion of the homeland, and yet one is unfolding now.
“Military-aged men from across the globe, many from countries or regions not friendly to the United States are landing in waves on our soil by the thousands — not by splashing ashore from a ship or parachuting from a plane but rather by foot across a border that has been accurately advertised around the world as largely unprotected and with ready access granted.”
Some of the officials included in the letter are former Terrorist Screening Center Director Timothy Healy, FBI assistant directors Kevin Brock and Chris Swecker, and Mark Morgan, the former acting commissioner of US Customs and Border Protection who is also an ex-FBI superintendent.
The letter goes on to cite the concerns of terrorists sneaking into the country via the southern and northern border, adding:
“We would be remiss not to call out this potentially grave threat in the most direct terms. The warning lights are blinking.”
Like many of you, I fail to be able to comprehend how Biden and Secretary Mayorkas continue to allow this to happen with a growing terror threat around the globe. Biden’s foreign policy blunders have made this country ripe for attack, and he is only making it easier on them with these lax border policies, a point that Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (R-N.Y.) made:
“It’s shocking that in a post 9/11 world that the Biden administration would have an open border policy with such lax vetting.
“They are even allowing people with no real identification to board airplanes, which is directly against the 9/11 Commission recommendations.”
At some point, there will be repercussions for this very specific period at our border, and the media need only point its collective fingers at one person… Joe Biden. Make no mistake about it, as there are likely hundreds, if not thousands, of nefarious actors on our soil, with the only question being, “When will they strike?”
