Disgraced former New York Rep. George Santos has been sentenced to 87 months in federal prison.
After admitting to a series of crimes including wire fraud and identity theft, George Santos, the former GOP congressman, faced severe legal consequences in a federal court on Friday, Fox News reported.
Santos, who is 36, pleaded guilty to various charges in August as part of a plea agreement. His crimes included wire fraud, identity theft, falsification of records, and credit card fraud. Before his plea, he had been indicted on 23 counts.
