An assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump has left the nation in shock.
According to the Daily Mail, an emergency room doctor at a Trump rally revealed how he performed CPR on a crowd member after an attempted assassination shooting.
During the unsettling events of July 13, a would-be assassin fired from roughly 100 yards away, hitting Trump in the right ear while he addressed supporters. The chaotic scene erupted just as the Republican National Convention loomed on the horizon, underscoring the gravity of the incident.

The doctor recounted the urgency:
I heard the shots. I thought it was firecrackers, to begin with. Somebody over there was screaming 'he's been shot he's been shot. The guy had spun around and was jammed between the benches and a headshot here. There's lots of blood and he had brain matter.
