Sean “Diddy” Combs left a New Jersey federal prison by ambulance for head-injury care over the weekend, then returned within hours while still serving his prostitution sentence.

TMZ reported that the 56-year-old music mogul was taken from FCI Fort Dix early Saturday and brought back before 7 a.m., after leaving around 1 a.m.

How he hurt his head was not immediately clear, and the medical facility was not named. He was out only a few hours before returning to the low-security lockup in the Garden State.

Combs is serving a 50-month sentence after a July 2025 conviction on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. A jury acquitted him of sex-trafficking and racketeering charges following a two-month trial.

Good-time credit already cut over prison conduct

Prison officials had already sanctioned him for “disruptive conduct” and stripped 41 days of good-conduct time. That move pushed his release from January 2028 to March 2028.

The penalty followed reports of alleged special treatment inside the facility and accusations he used a contraband cell phone. Reporting tied the phone to X-rated material sent by an ex-girlfriend.

An NBC account described claims he paid for massages, booze, and special meals, and for staff to clean a toilet and shower before he used them. Those allegations formed part of the same conduct picture that cost him the good-time days.

Trial record still hangs over the sentence

Trial testimony described years of “freak off” sex sessions involving then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura and other women. Witnesses said male prostitutes were hired and that drugs were forced on participants during parties that sometimes lasted days.

Combs founded Bad Boy Records and built a long public career before the federal case. He is now a federal inmate whose brief hospital run sits alongside the lost good-time credit and the fixed March 2028 date.

No fresh disciplinary detail or medical diagnosis was released with the ambulance report. The public record so far shows a short medical trip, a prior conduct sanction, and a prostitution conviction that still governs his custody.

Money and fame do not erase a federal sentence, or the rules that come with it.
