The Biden administration recently revealed its new changes to Title IX rules, or should I say, its interpretation of the rule.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis immediately opposed the changes and just announced that he would sue the administration over them.

When the administration released its new rules, it expanded protections for transgenders while not actually addressing the issue of biological men playing in women's sports. The administration sold the changes only by highlighting added protections for cases of sexual abuse, but that is not what the GOP is fighting against.
It is fighting against the idea of a man who identifies as a woman being permitted to use the women's locker room or forcing a young girl to share a dorm room with a biological male. DeSantis immediately came out to say that he would not be following the new Title IX guidelines, and Governor Abbott in Texas followed suit. Democrats immediately went on the attack, portraying red states as trying to block sexual assault protections, but again, that is not what is being fought against here.
So, Governor DeSantis did what he does best and filed suit against the changes made by the Biden administration to Title IX. In announcing the suit, DeSantis stated:
"Florida is suing the Biden Administration over its unlawful Title IX changes. Biden is abusing his constitutional authority to push an ideological agenda that harms women and girls and conflicts with the truth.
"We will not comply, and we will fight back against Biden's harmful agenda."
The Independent Women's Law Center, Independent Women's Network, Parents Defending Education, and Speech First, Inc. have all signed on to the suit, as have several other red states. Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr added:
"The Biden administration is destroying women's sports by gutting commonsense provisions that protect female athletes and demanding that biological males be allowed to compete against females.
"Today we have taken action to defend women's rights to fair competition, and we will keep fighting until we end this absurdity once and for all."
Now, if you watched that Fox News video above, it mentioned that polling overwhelmingly supports keeping biological men out of women's sports, bathrooms, dorm rooms, and locker rooms. Still, Biden continues pushing this issue, making a stand on something both sides agree is wrong.
But again, the extremists in the party are backing the changes, and they have the loudest voices, so that is who Biden is caving to right now. We are trying to protect our children, but Joe Biden and Democrats appear ready to feed them to the wolves. If I were advising the GOP, I would be telling them to hit this issue hard as well as confront Democrats on this issue every time they possibly can in a public venue. Get them all on the record so the American people know who to vote out of office to protect their little girls.
