Donald Trump recently interviewed with podcaster Hugh Hewitt.
Rather than putting Trump on the spot about debating actual presidential candidates, Hewitt asked Trump if he would debate Meghan Markle, the wife of Prince Harry.
Meghan Markle, a Hollywood actress, has been a polarizing figure since she married Prince Harry.
She is largely blamed for driving a wedge between Harry and the Royal family, as well as ignoring some typical protocols during Royal events.
Markle and her hubby have been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons lately, including what appeared to be an embellished story about escaping a mob of people.
Hewitt asked Trump if he would debate Markle for the ratings.
Trump responded:
“I’d love to debate her. I would love it.
“If you want to set it up, let’s set it up. Let’s go do something.”
Donald Trump tells Hugh Hewitt he would “love to debate” Meghan Markle:
“I didn’t like the way she dealt with the queen ... I’d love to debate her. I would love it. I disagree so much with what they’re doing.” pic.twitter.com/vc7KpzTaeJ

I know many people out there support Trump not doing the GOP debates, but I am not one of them.
First, there is the loyalty pledge that all candidates will support the eventual winner. At this point, everyone has signed it, BUT Trump.
Second, this is about more than policy right now, as Trump has some tough questions to answer regarding what happens if he loses these cases, as well as why he has spent tens of millions of campaign donations on legal bills.
Finally, Trump has thrown some heavy shots against his opponents, and they deserve the right to face him in person to challenge those accusations and have Trump back up his attacks to their face.
If I sound a bit perturbed at the idea of Trump debating Meghan Markle while stiffing the entire GOP field, I am.
These are some big questions that need to be answered, and the media that do interview Trump refuse to put him on the spot.
We need to know what Trump plans to do if he is convicted as well as what he will do if he ends up losing the primary and someone else gets nominated.
His base will do whatever he tells them to do, and if he decides to burn the whole house down, we lose everything in 2024. We deserve to know that now.
The media is simply not doing its job by feeding him idiotic questions like this.
Next week, Trump is set to do an interview with Megyn Kelly, and I would hope that she will put some of these questions to Trump.
She has been rather cozy with Trump as of late, so I fear it will wind up being another softball interview that does not provide us with the answers we need before this primary election.
I hope I am wrong, but if Trump loses a case, then goes to jail and refuses to drop out of the race, we are going to get slaughtered next November.
Everything is on the line right now for conservatives, and no, I do not think the idea of having someone run the country from a prison cell is badass, as I have read on social media from people that I used to respect.
I want to win, period. I am sick and tired of getting our a$$es handed to us by the Democrats.
We had a significant opportunity in 2020, and we blew it. The 2022 election should have been a red tsunami, and it was not even a ripple in the lake.
The 2024 election is our last shot, and we cannot blow it.
