Comer Exposes Alleged Corruption In Biden-Harris Administration

 October 17, 2024

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer has launched comprehensive inquiries into the conduct of the Biden-Harris administration, citing severe mismanagement and corruption.

House Oversight Committee's extensive reports on the Biden-Harris administration highlight heavy accusations of widespread mismanagement, Fox News reported.

Chairman James Comer has openly criticized the current administration’s competence, dubbing it detrimental to the citizenry. His committee has meticulously documented their findings in a 72-page report. This document encapsulates investigations into international business engagements of the Biden family and scrutinizes the administration’s approach to handling border security and the COVID-19 pandemic relief efforts.

Probing Into Biden Family's Foreign Dealings

During the tenure of the 118th Congress, James Comer’s committee organized 135 hearings, issued more than 600 letters for investigations, and dispatched 51 subpoenas. Investigations have pointed to the Biden family allegedly obtaining over $27 million from foreign entities, supposedly hiding these transactions via shell companies.

James Comer claims evidence reveals personal gains tied to the misuse of office by the Biden family, particularly through dealings with foreign entities. The report accuses President Biden himself of engaging in high-level corruption, which they say was unveiled through rigorous oversight.

According to James Comer, “Our thorough oversight and investigations have revealed rampant waste, fraud, abuse, and mismanagement in the Biden-Harris Administration, and we’ve provided the transparency and accountability the American people demand.”

Environmental and Immigration Policies Under Scrutiny

The committee also evaluated environmental strategies enacted by the Biden-Harris administration, which are described by Comer as excessively radical and a threat to economic stability and national security. Included in their broad oversight were issues stemming from the administration's immigration policies that allegedly culminated in over 8 million illegal immigrations and nearly 2 million undocumented individuals slipping through during their tenure.

The report also focuses on a stark evaluation of the administration's response to the COVID-19 pandemic, especially highlighting more than $100 billion lost to fraud in unemployment insurance. This has raised serious concerns about governmental efficacy under President Biden's leadership.

James Comer’s criticism extends directly to Vice President Kamala Harris, who he describes as significantly accountable for these failings. His vocal critiques suggest both leaders have led an administration marked by significant oversight issues that have reportedly caused widespread damage.

In response to alleged security failures, and following a failed assassination attempt on former President Trump on July 13, 2024, the oversight extended to the Secret Service, resulting in the resignation of Director Kimberly Cheatle.

Proposing Reforms for Presidential Ethics

In the wake of these investigations, James Comer introduced the Presidential Ethics Reform Act aimed at fortifying rules on disclosure concerning foreign payments and addressing potential conflicts of interest that involve not only the president but also vice presidents and their families. This proposal seeks to lay down stronger ethical boundaries and enhance transparency within the highest levels of the federal government.

Further, investigations into the CCP’s influence in the U.S. and a lack of a cohesive government strategy against CCP political warfare have also been ongoing. This includes scrutiny of Vice President Harris’ running mate, Tim Walz, for his alleged connections with China. The White House has rebuked these probes, labeling them as politically motivated without substantial evidence, and has particularly dismissed the impeachment inquiry as an unsuccessful political maneuver.

James Comer assured that these intensive investigations were crucial to exposing the supposed corruption and inefficiencies within the Biden-Harris administration. His report and proposed legislative measures aim to set a precedent for future administrations, urging rigorous ethical standards and transparency to guard against similar accusations of impropriety.
