CNN Finally Admits Something Amis During Biden Vice Presidency

 August 15, 2024

It has only taken four years, but CNN finally sees what we have all been pointing to for years.

During a recent panel discussion, a CNN analyst admitted that something "feels very strange" about Hunter going to the State Department regarding his business ventures.

Talking Points…
- Hunter using the Obama administration for contacts
- CNN finally gets it
- Analysis

Hunter Regularly Used Obama Officials for Business Purposes

When Joe Biden was vice president, Hunter Biden regularly contacted Obama officials for advice or help. Hunter was cozy with numerous top administration officials, including John Kerry, who was Secretary of State. It would also appear that Hunter was using government assets.

For instance, in one email exchange with John Kerry's office, David Wade, who was Kerry's Chief of Staff at the time, wrote:

"Just spoke with Hunter Biden, good friend of S, who teaches a class at Georgetown on advocacy.

"He'd like S to speak to his class on 3/18. If S is here, he'll for sure want to do this. Class would come here to HST."

"S" in that email refers to Secretary Kerry, and "HST" refers to the Harry S. Truman State Department Headquarters.

Hunter was also tight with Jake Sullivan, Biden's current National Security Adviser, and Antony Blinken, the current Secretary of State. There are numerous email exchanges between the two, one I found very interesting, with Hunter writing:

"Have a few minutes next week to grab a cup of coffee? I know you are impossibly busy, but would like to get your advice on a couple of things."

CNN Finally Gets It

If you saw the slew of emails from Hunter Biden's laptop, you know this was par for the course, especially with Kerry and Blinken, who regularly appeared to be doing legwork for Hunter Biden to get him information or give him advice on his business deals. The media has always brushed this off, but with Biden no longer in the race, they are starting to get curious.

During a recent CNN panel discussion, CNN's Edward-Isaac Dovere noted:

"This isn't great. Hunter Biden, everybody in the White House has known for a long time, is an issue. The way that his lawyers responded to this disclosure saying, 'Well, yeah, he sent letters but did nothing wrong.'

"This feels very strange to people that the vice president's son was sending letters or making requests to other government officials and saying, 'Hey, would you meet with this company?'"

Matt Gorman, a former adviser for Republican South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott's presidential campaign, added:

"It doesn't look good. He is still facing trial later this year for tax evasion around Burisma. And look, I think it's one of the many reasons Democrats are probably breathing a big sigh of relief.

"They don't have to worry about Hunter Biden in terms of presidential campaign trail politics, but you're right, this is the background of this. And this certainly, he's not going away anytime soon."

Analysis

Hunter was not only apparently selling access to his father but also blatantly using government assets in his business deals. This is all illegal, and there is simply no way that you can tell me Joe Biden did not know all of this was going on. Gorman is right because this is not going away anytime soon, and now it appears that Joe and Hunter Biden could be fair game in the media now that Joe Biden has withdrawn from the race. Late justice is better than no justice.
