Former NFL punter Chris Kluwe recently made headlines following his arrest at a city council meeting in Huntington Beach, California.
He protested a commemorative plaque at the city’s library and called on democratic officials to practice civil disobedience, Fox News reported.
Kluwe’s protest targeted the installation of a plaque that included terms associated with the "MAGA" acronym, such as "Magical," "Alluring," "Galvanizing," "Adventurous," and the phrase "Through hope and change our nation has built back better to the golden era of Making America Great Again!" "People need to be aware that what’s going on with this administration is leading us down a dark path. Right now, no one is willing to step up and do that. So, if I want to ask them to do it, then I have to be willing to do it too."
