Charlie Kirk Backs Trump Team on Epstein Files

 July 14, 2025, NEWS

Conservative heavyweight Charlie Kirk just dropped a bombshell of trust in the Trump administration to untangle the messy web surrounding Jeffrey Epstein’s files.

According to The Hill, on his show with Real America’s Voice this Monday, Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, took a firm stance on the Epstein saga while addressing the latest developments and simmering tensions within conservative circles.

Discussions about Epstein heated up recently at the Turning Point USA conference in Tampa over the weekend, where attendees voiced strong opinions on the disgraced financier’s case.

Epstein Memo Sparks Conservative Outrage

Kirk himself noted, “Plenty was said this last weekend at our event,” signaling the intensity of the chatter among his base.

That intensity isn’t surprising, given the Department of Justice and FBI dropped a joint memo last week confirming Epstein’s 2019 death in a New York City jail cell was by suicide, while also stating no client list ever existed.

This memo has ignited a firestorm among MAGA supporters, many of whom have long pushed conspiracy theories about Epstein’s demise and rumored connections to powerful figures, especially on the left side of the political spectrum.

Kirk Steps Back from Epstein Debate

While the frustration is palpable, Kirk seems ready to let others take the reins, declaring, “I’m done talking about Epstein for the time being.”

His reasoning? He’s placing faith in allies within the government, stating, “I’m going to trust my friends in the administration to do what needs to be done.”

That’s a bold move, considering the skepticism many conservatives harbor toward federal agencies, but Kirk’s confidence in familiar names might just calm some nerves—or at least buy time.

Trust in Key Administration Figures

Kirk doubled down by naming specific figures he’s counting on, saying, “I’m going to trust my friends Kash Patel, Dan Bongino, my friend Pam Bondi.”

Yet, not everyone is on the same page, as internal disputes within the Justice Department and FBI— including reported friction with Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino—reveal cracks in the handling of Epstein’s documents.

Attorney General Pam Bondi, in particular, has faced sharp criticism from conservatives over earlier promises of transparency on these files, leaving some to question whether trust is enough.

Navigating a Divisive Issue

Kirk, aware of the divide, still urged restraint, noting, “Ball’s in their court,” and suggesting the weekend’s speeches at Tampa covered the topic enough for now.

It’s a pragmatic sidestep, avoiding the risk of fueling more division while the conservative movement grapples with how to approach a story that’s equal parts outrage and mystery.

Navigating this Epstein controversy requires a delicate balance—holding the powerful accountable without spiraling into unproven claims—and Kirk’s decision to defer to trusted allies might be the smartest play for now, even if it leaves some supporters hungry for more answers.
