Border Czar Slams AOC’s ICE Webinar Antics

 May 14, 2025, NEWS

According to Fox News, Tom Homan, Trump’s border czar, isn’t backing down from a fight with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Her webinar coaching migrants on dodging ICE agents sparked his ire, and now he’s hinting at a DOJ probe. Looks like AOC’s grandstanding might finally meet its match.

Homan and AOC are locked in a heated clash over her migrant webinar and Democratic protests at an ICE facility. The border czar’s sharp rebuke came after AOC’s bold defiance, setting the stage for a Capitol Hill showdown.

On Tuesday, Fox News Digital pressed AOC about a possible DOJ investigation into her webinar. She claimed ignorance, saying she hadn’t heard from the DOJ. Typical dodge, but Homan’s not buying it.

Homan Calls Out AOC’s Webinar

Homan, invited to Capitol Hill on Wednesday by Rep. August Pfluger, R-Texas, didn’t mince words. “Why doesn’t she pass some legislation?” he quipped, mocking AOC’s focus on theatrics over governance. It’s a fair point—lawmakers should legislate, not lecture ICE on evasion.

AOC’s webinar advised migrants on handling ICE encounters, which Homan sees as undermining border security. At a Queens town hall, she doubled down, claiming free speech. Funny how “free speech” always shields her stunts.

“I’m using my free speech rights,” AOC declared, daring critics to “come for me.” Homan’s response? A sarcastic “I’m extremely intimidated,” delivered with a laugh that says he’s ready for the fight.

Democratic Protest Sparks Controversy

Earlier this week, three New Jersey Democrats—Reps. Bonnie Watson Coleman, Robert Menendez, and LaMonica McIver joined a protest outside Newark’s Delaney Hall ICE facility. Newark Mayor Ras Baraka, also present, was arrested. Seems like some lawmakers prefer mob tactics to meeting rooms.

Homan didn’t hesitate to call for consequences. “Yes,” he said when asked if the protesting lawmakers should face censure or lose committee seats. Actions have consequences, and Homan’s pushing for accountability.

Republicans are mulling sanctions for the Democratic trio, whose antics at Delaney Hall crossed a line. Democrats, predictably, cry foul, insisting their presence was their right as federal officials. Rights don’t excuse reckless behavior.

AOC’s Threats Fall Flat

AOC took to Instagram, warning, “You lay a finger on Bonnie Watson Coleman… we’re going to have a problem.” Her tough talk might thrill her base, but it’s hollow against Homan’s resolve. Threatening consequences while dodging her own? Classic. Homan fired back, touting his border security record. “We arrested three times more criminals than Biden did,” he said, contrasting his results with AOC’s rhetoric. Numbers don’t lie, even if AOC wishes they did.

“I’m working with the Department of Justice,” Homan teased, hinting AOC’s webinar might cross legal lines. The DOJ’s silence on the matter only fuels speculation. Maybe AOC’s bravado is about to meet a reality check.

Border Security vs. Political Theater

Homan’s Capitol Hill visit, hosted by the Republican Study Committee, focused on real border solutions. Meanwhile, AOC’s crew stages protests and webinars that undermine enforcement. Guess which side’s working for the country? Democrats argue their Newark protest was justified, but Homan sees it as an attack on law enforcement. Storming an ICE facility isn’t oversight—it’s obstruction. The border czar’s call for discipline is long overdue.

Homan’s parting shot? “She should try doing her job.” It’s a zinger that cuts through AOC’s posturing, reminding us that governance beats grandstanding every time.
