After the debate was over, Joe Biden told the crowd at this post-debate rally that he could not wait until the fact-checkers did their thing.
Well, they have… and it was not good for Joe Biden.

- Analysis
We know candidates will stretch the truth during a debate, but everyone is acting like Donald Trump was the only one to do so here. To be honest, Trump did stretch the truth a few times, but overall, he was on point.
In fact, if you recall, Trump even fact-checked Joe Biden several times during the debate, which is what started to get under Joe Biden’s skin. What was rather amusing after the fact was seeing how everyone in the media just talked about Donald Trump’s lies while ignoring the whoppers that Biden told.
The worst lie of the night came regarding deaths of our troops since Biden has been in office. Biden stated:
“I’m the only president this century that doesn’t have any — this decade — that doesn’t have any troops dying anywhere in the world, like [Trump] did.”
That is just a flat-out lie. For starters, we had 13 troops die in Afghanistan after Biden took office. There have been at least three more troops that have died in overseas attacks. That, of course, does not even include the special operators that have died in alleged “training accidents,” which is often cover for a black op that went bad.
Biden also made a bizarre claim that he beat Medicare, but that was during a brain freeze, so I have no idea what he was talking about there. A claim Bided made that we can refute, however, was that the Border Patrol had endorsed him, which was immediately debunked by the Border Patrol. After the debate the union posted on X:
“To be clear, we never have and never will endorse Biden.”
Biden screwed up tax rates, took black unemployment out of context, but then he claimed that Donald Trump wants to end social security, which is not the case. Trump has always stated that he believes the system needs to be revamped to fund social security, not outright end the program. Trump has just stated that the way it is set up now no longer works and would make it impossible to keep social security moving forward unless we make changes.
He took Trump’s unemployment numbers out of context by not attributing them to the pandemic, and then he tried to say that border numbers right now are better than what Trump’s when Trump left office, which is a complete and utter joke. Biden also claimed that he lowered the price of insulin, but that was all started via a Trump program, which Biden more or less codified. However, Trump was right when he pushed back on this and stated that lowering insulin prices started under his administration.
When people bring up the idea of fact-checking in real-time during a debate, they often get upset, but that is because they know Trump likes to get a little creative. However, fact-checking works both ways, and Biden’s buzzer would have been working overtime had they fact-checked his statements in real-time. Even now, the media continues to do a poor job of calling out Biden for his blatant during the debate, the worst of which was regarding the death of troops.
I will be the first to admit that Trump lies and/or exaggerates a bit too often. But Joe Biden does not get a pass here, and I could easily argue that Biden lies far more often than Trump. What is even worse is that Biden continues to tell those lies even after they have been debunked. So bring on the real-time fact-checkers as long as you check every word that comes out of both candidates mouths.
