If Donald Trump wants to give Joe Biden a nickname for the upcoming general election, it should be "mumbles."
Biden was speaking at the G20 convention when he went after climate deniers. Only most of the people in the room had no idea what he was saying.
The Group of 20 is now actually the group of 21. The organization comprises 19 sovereign nations, the European Union, and the African Union.
It was founded in 1999 to discuss world economic issues, with the AU only recently being invited to join.
The members are broken out into groups, except for the EU and AU, with the chair rotating among the groups every year.
As of December 2022, India, a Group 2 member, is serving as the organization's chair.
According to the United Nations, climate change is defined as:
"Climate change refers to long-term shifts in temperatures and weather patterns. Such shifts can be natural, due to changes in the sun's activity or large volcanic eruptions. But since the 1800s, human activities have been the main driver of climate change, primarily due to the burning of fossil fuels like coal, oil and gas."
As most of you know, climate change has played a significant role in the Biden administration.
However, there is resistance to funding climate change, largely because China and India have done little to address climate change, and without those two countries on board, this movement is literally useless.
Currently, with Joe Biden's plan, we are doing nothing more than shuffling carbon emission numbers to other countries so Biden can say that the U.S. is decreasing its carbon output. Yet, we continue to purchase fossil fuels, such as oil, in the same quantities that we were producing prior to Biden getting the keys to the White House.
All this is doing is raising the cost of energy for Americans.
Biden spoke to the G20 leaders during the summit over the weekend.
As we often see happen, Biden tends to lose his energy as these longer meetings progress, and it happened again.
While speaking to the group on Sunday, Biden decided to tell a story of a quote his brother used to use all the time from an alleged John Wayne movie, "lying, dog-faced pony soldiers."
Biden, taking a shot at climate change deniers, stated:
"And the Indian scout, the Indian looks at John Wayne and points to the Union soldier and says, 'He's a lying, dog-faced pony soldier.' Well, there's a lot of lying, dog-faced pony soldiers out there about — about global warming, but not anymore. All of a sudden, they're all realizing it's a problem. And there's nothing like seeing the light."
The reaction to Joe's speech was immediate and harsh. Here are just two of the comments that followed his speech…

Um... On top of not making sense... Isn't this borderline racist? https://t.co/Z0XbbkqQL5

First and foremost, as usual, Joe Biden got his reference wrong.
The quote actually comes from a Tyrone Power film called "Pony Soldier."
That entire quote, however, does not appear in the movie. The closest anyone could find is the line, "The pony soldier speaks with the tongue of the snake that rattles."
In "She Wore a Yellow Ribbon," which is a John Wayne movie, "dog-faced soldiers" is used, but again, not the phrase that Biden used.
As for Biden's comments about deniers, there are obviously some deniers, but most people understand that pollution hurts our atmosphere.
Like me, most people have an issue with the United States funding climate change policy for other countries as well as radical changes that put our energy independence at risk.
I have zero problem with renewable energy, but also firmly believe that it should be used in conjunction with fossil fuels, not as an all-out replacement.
I despise extremes, but sadly, that is where both parties stand right now on this issue.
Furthermore, Biden's radical change has proven to be ineffective, not to mention financial suicide for Americans and our economy.
When Biden does these massive land grabs and blocks domestic energy production, he creates more resistance to his climate change agenda, not to climate change, but these are largely the people that Biden is criticizing as climate change deniers, and it is simply not true.
During the most recent GOP debate, it was Nikki Haley that actually addressed this very issue.
