When Donald Trump was in office, Melania was in charge of the Christmas decorations, and the media and internet trolls crushed her for her color scheme.
Jill Biden just made a change to the holiday decorations this season, and it has some people asking some very serious questions, and rightfully so.
Monday afternoon was a big day at the White House, as the much anticipated holiday decorations were unveiled.
Jill described her State Dining Room decorations as the "magic wonder and the joy of the holidays."
Jill added:
"The holidays offer a time for reflection and a break from our hurried lives, a season to be fully present with our friends and our families.
"It's also a season of gratitude."
There was one thing that was missing from the decorations that had been present for the Bidens' first two Christmas' at the White House, and it says a lot more about the Bidens than any words they have uttered.
In July, Joe Biden tried to kill the narrative that the Biden family was not welcoming Navy Roberts, Hunter's daughter, out of wedlock with Lunden Roberts, the Arkansas native and former stripper at a DC club that Hunter frequented.
Biden, at the time, stated:
"Our son Hunter and Navy's mother, Lunden, are working together to foster a relationship that is in the best interests of their daughter, preserving her privacy as much as possible going forward.
"This is not a political issue, it's a family matter. Jill and I only want what is best for all of our grandchildren, including Navy."
Traditionally, the Bidens have put stockings over the fireplace with all their grandchildren's names, but that was missing this year.
When the White House was asked for a comment on the matter, a spokesperson stated that the Bidens would be in Camp David for the holiday, so they have chosen to hang the stockings there instead, but there was no mention of whether a stocking for Navy will be hung.
As I noted above, this says far more about the Bidens than any words they have uttered.
Joe and Jill Biden have always portrayed themselves as family people, family above all else… yet they have ostracized this beautiful little girl who wants nothing more than to know her father's side of the family.
The goodwill this would have provided for Joe Biden is immeasurable, but the pettiness of that family chose to remove a traditional family decoration rather than adding Navy's to the stocking display.
It's repulsive, actually, that they would do this to a child.
To me, words are empty, and actions speak far louder. The actions taken by Jill Biden in how she decorated this year speak volumes as to the type of person she and her husband really are.
