Nonetheless, he advises, “You’re on your journey. I’m on my journey. You’ve got to keep trusting God. And if you feel compelled to step out in that way, then do it boldly and know that you’re going to be OK.”
His bold political declaration has not come without a cost. Levi revealed to Variety that his team has informed him of individuals in the industry who are reluctant to work with him because of his political opinions, although no names were specifically mentioned.
The actor anticipated backlash in his career for his endorsement and insists his choice was deliberate. He stated, “They haven’t given me any specific names, but there are people who prefer not to work with me at this time.” Levi was, however, already aware of these possible repercussions.
