Somali Fraud Schemes Linked to Democrat Campaign Funding

 January 3, 2026, NEWS

Taxpayers' money might just be funding political campaigns instead of community needs.

According to Breitbart, a stunning investigation has uncovered that Somali-run daycare and social service organizations, some tied to massive welfare fraud, are allegedly funneling taxpayer dollars into Democratic Party campaigns and Somali political candidates across states like Minnesota and Washington.

For hardworking American taxpayers, especially retirees on fixed incomes, this is a gut punch—every dollar diverted to political causes could mean less for critical services, with potential financial burdens mounting into the millions.

Uncovering the Minnesota Money Trail

The scandal kicked off with revelations in Minnesota, where the New York Post reported that Democrats pocketed $50,000 in donations from convicted felons tied to the Somalian Feeding Our Future organization.

This group, accused of siphoning off a staggering $250 million in welfare funds meant for the vulnerable, seems to have found a side hustle in political influence.

Isn’t it curious how money meant for hungry kids ends up in campaign coffers?

Washington State’s Questionable Donations

Shifting to Washington State, X user Cam Higby unearthed that 80 percent of donations from folks listing “childcare” as their job went straight to the Somali Port of Seattle Commissioner Hamdi Mohamed.

Meanwhile, Derrick Evans spotlighted a Somali-owned daycare center in the same state that raked in $81,000 in government funds in just one month—while caring for a mere seven children. Call it efficiency, or call it eyebrow-raising; either way, the math doesn’t add up for the average parent struggling to afford childcare.

Nationwide Patterns of Concern

Across the map, Mario Nawfal noted that tens of thousands of dollars from Somali child and adult care groups have flowed into Democratic campaigns.

A TikTok user also dug up evidence of Somali daycare centers channeling thousands in tax dollars to Somali candidates running for office, raising serious ethical red flags.

If public funds are indeed being repurposed for political gain, shouldn’t every citizen demand a full audit?

Disturbing Threats and Deeper Issues

Anti-Jihad activist Robert Spencer brought to light an even darker twist, reporting that several fraudulent Somali groups donated taxpayer money to a Somali politician who allegedly threatened to blow up a school bus in the name of Somalia.

Separately, Kevin Bass pointed out that states with lax voter ID laws are often the same ones doling out the highest welfare benefits to unauthorized migrants, hinting at broader systemic gaps.

While respecting individual rights, conservatives must ask: Are these policies protecting the public, or leaving the door open to abuse at a steep legal and financial cost to law-abiding citizens?
