Kennedy Family Members Demand RFK Jr.'s Resignation

 September 7, 2025, NEWS

There’s a storm brewing in one of America’s most storied political dynasties. The Kennedy family, long a symbol of progressive ideals, is now publicly tearing itself apart over Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s role as head of the Department of Health and Human Services, with several prominent members demanding his resignation.

Yahoo News reported that this family feud exploded into the spotlight after a contentious Senate hearing this week, where RFK Jr. clashed with lawmakers over public health policies, and now his own kin—Kerry Kennedy, Joe Kennedy III, and Jack Schlossberg—are leading the charge against him.

The drama kicked off during that Senate hearing, where RFK Jr. sparred with both Republicans and Democrats over hot-button issues like vaccine access, autism, and the state of the CDC. Reports from the Associated Press and other outlets didn’t mince words: many of his claims were deemed false or misleading. Topics ranged from Covid-19 to childhood vaccinations, and even touched on school shootings and rural hospital funding—none of which painted him in a flattering light.

Kennedy Hearing Sparks Family Backlash

First out of the gate was Kerry Kennedy, RFK Jr.’s sister, who took to social media with a blistering critique of her brother’s stance. “Vaccines work. This is not up for debate,” she declared, striking at the heart of his controversial views. While her passion for public health is clear, one wonders if this public shaming is more about family loyalty than scientific consensus—especially when the progressive agenda often dodges tough questions on vaccine skepticism.

Kerry didn’t stop there. “The decimation of critical institutions, like the NIH and the CDC, will lead to the loss of innocent lives,” she warned, before delivering the knockout punch: “Enough is enough. Secretary Kennedy must resign. Now.” It’s a bold demand, but let’s be honest—dismantling bloated bureaucracies might just be the shake-up needed to refocus on real health crises, not woke talking points.

Next up, Joe Kennedy III, RFK Jr.’s nephew and a former Representative, piled on with his own statement. “Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is a threat to the health and well-being of every American,” he charged, painting a dire picture. While his concern might resonate with the establishment crowd, it’s hard not to see this as a bit of political posturing from a family that’s often played both sides of the aisle.

Joe Kennedy III Joins the Fray

Joe wasn’t done, either. “The challenges before us—from disease outbreaks to mental health crises—demand moral clarity, scientific expertise, and leadership rooted in fact,” he insisted. Admirable words, but when the left’s version of “fact” often means silencing dissent, one has to question whether this is about science or control.

He capped it off with a direct call to action: “Those values are not present in the Secretary's office. He must resign.” It’s a harsh verdict, but shouldn’t we at least consider if RFK Jr.’s contrarian streak is exposing cracks in a system that’s failed rural America for decades?

Then there’s Jack Schlossberg, the only living grandson of President Kennedy, who couldn’t resist throwing his hat into the ring. Reposting Joe’s statement, he added his own colorful commentary: “RFK LOSER IS A THREAT TO PUBLIC HEALTH.” His sharp tongue might win likes online, but such juvenile jabs hardly elevate the debate over serious policy differences.

Schlossberg’s Vocal Criticism Intensifies

Schlossberg, who’s been a consistent thorn in RFK Jr.’s side, didn’t hold back with further insults about lying to Congress. While his frustration is palpable, this kind of rhetoric feels more like a social media stunt than a reasoned critique. Shouldn’t a Kennedy, of all people, aim for a higher standard in public discourse?

Interestingly, not all Kennedys are joining the pile-on. Several family members, some of whom opposed RFK Jr.’s presidential bid before he aligned with the Trump administration, have stayed silent in recent months. It’s a curious quietness—perhaps a sign that not everyone in the clan buys into the progressive outrage machine.

Still, the statements from Kerry and Joe mark a significant escalation in this public family feud. What was once a simmering disagreement over policy has now boiled over into a full-blown demand for resignation. It’s a sad day when a family with such a legacy can’t hash out differences behind closed doors.

Public Feud Divides Kennedy Legacy

Let’s step back and look at the bigger picture: RFK Jr.’s tenure at Health and Human Services is clearly a lightning rod, both in Congress and at the family dinner table. His unorthodox views challenge the status quo, which, frankly, needs a good shaking after years of bureaucratic bloat and questionable mandates. But when your own blood turns against you, it’s a tough pill to swallow.

Critics might argue that RFK Jr.’s misleading statements, as fact-checked by major outlets, justify this family uprising. Yet, in an era where “fact-checking” often smells of partisan bias, shouldn’t we question whether the establishment is just circling the wagons against a maverick? It’s worth pondering if the real threat to public health is dissent—or blind conformity.

At the end of the day, this Kennedy clash isn’t just a family spat; it’s a microcosm of the broader cultural divide tearing at America’s seams. On one side, you’ve got the progressive elite clutching their pearls over any deviation from the approved narrative; on the other, a growing chorus asking if our institutions have lost their way. Whichever side you’re on, one thing’s clear: this feud isn’t fading anytime soon.
