GOP Lawmakers Celebrate Trump's Rose Garden Club Debut

 September 6, 2025, NEWS

President Trump just turned the White House Rose Garden into the hottest conservative hangout with the launch of his exclusive “Rose Garden Club” dinner.

According to The Hill, on Friday night, Trump rolled out the red carpet—or should we say, the rose petals—for a host of Republican lawmakers and guests to mark the grand reopening of the iconic space near the West Wing.

Before the floral festivities, though, Trump played host to a different crowd on Thursday, welcoming tech titans like Meta’s Mark Zuckerberg, Apple’s Tim Cook, Microsoft’s Bill Gates, and OpenAI’s Sam Altman to the White House.

Tech Giants Meet America First Agenda

That Thursday gathering, originally slated for the Rose Garden, got rained out and moved indoors, but Trump didn’t miss a beat, pushing his “America First” agenda and pressing these industry leaders on their commitments to U.S. manufacturing.

It’s a classic Trump move—bring the big players to the table and remind them where their priorities should lie. Turns out, building at home still matters.

Fast forward to Friday, and the Rose Garden was back in the spotlight, freshly renovated and ready to impress as Trump hosted the inaugural dinner of the new “Rose Garden Club.”

Rose Garden Club Steals the Show

Republican lawmakers couldn’t stop raving about it on social media by early Saturday, with House Speaker Mike Johnson calling the event “epic” and thanking Trump for his hospitality. Well, if the Speaker says it’s a hit, who are we to argue with that kind of enthusiasm?

Vice President Vance was there, rubbing elbows with heavy hitters like Sens. Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee, Markwayne Mullin of Oklahoma, and Rep. Richard Hudson of North Carolina. Hudson gushed about the invite, saying he was “honored” to join Trump for the night. Sounds like the kind of dinner invite you don’t decline.

Other attendees, like Rep. Anna Paulina Luna of Florida, shared snapshots with Vance, while Sen. Jim Banks of Indiana posted a photo alongside the president himself. Banks praised the renovation, noting it will be cherished “by Americans for generations.” That’s high praise for a garden glow-up.

Lawmakers Praise Trump's Visionary Touch

Freshman Rep. Riley Moore of West Virginia, related to Sen. Shelley Moore Capito, thanked Trump for including him in the historic evening, calling it an “awesome night.” Rep. Brian Babin of Texas echoed the sentiment, describing a “beautiful evening” with Trump. Clearly, the Rose Garden left everyone blooming with admiration.

Rep. Andy Biggs of Arizona didn’t hold back either, declaring it an “honor” to be part of the inaugural dinner and reaffirming his loyalty to Trump’s “America First” priorities. When you’ve got lawmakers this fired up, you know the event hit the right notes.

Sens. James Lankford of Oklahoma, Marsha Blackburn again, and Rep. Jason Smith of Missouri also took to social media to share their experiences from the dinner. It’s safe to say the Rose Garden Club’s debut was the talk of conservative circles.

White House Upgrades Beyond the Garden

Amid all this, let’s not forget the White House itself is getting a broader makeover, with construction underway for a new ballroom project alongside the Rose Garden enhancements. Trump’s vision for the presidential residence seems to be as bold as his policies.

Events like these remind us that leadership isn’t just about policy—it’s about bringing people together, whether they’re tech moguls or loyal lawmakers, to celebrate shared goals.

Trump’s knack for hosting seems to be as strong as ever, and the Rose Garden Club might just become the new symbol of conservative camaraderie. If only every dinner could solve as many problems as this one appears to.
