According to Daily Caller, Willis posted on the business-focused social media platform Monday, announcing openings for assistant district attorneys. Her message, dripping with urgency, calls for “passionate prosecutors ready to serve with integrity and excellence.”
Yet, behind this polished appeal lies a mess of controversy and mismanagement that’s hard to ignore. Willis’s office seems to be unraveling, caught between courtroom setbacks and budget disputes with county officials.
A Georgia appeals court dealt a significant blow in December, removing Willis from a high-profile criminal case against President Donald Trump. The 2-1 ruling pointed to an “appearance of impropriety” tied to her romantic relationship with special prosecutor Nathan Wade.
