A MAGA congresswoman announced her intentions to expose decades-old government secrets behind high-profile assassinations and incidents.

According to Daily Mail, Republican Representative Anna Paulina Luna made a startling claim about the existence of two shooters in President John F. Kennedy's assassination while launching a new task force aimed at declassifying sensitive government documents.

The Florida congresswoman's task force will investigate not only JFK's murder but also other historical events, including the assassinations of Martin Luther King Jr. and Robert F. Kennedy, Jeffrey Epstein files, UFO sightings, and documents related to COVID-19 origins and the September 11 attacks. Luna emphasized that her investigation would be more thorough than previous ones due to access to new information previously unavailable to investigators.

New task force aims to expose hidden government documents

The Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets was announced alongside House Oversight Chairman James Comer. Their first hearing, scheduled for March, will focus on President Kennedy's assassination. Luna expressed her intention to bring in witnesses who were present in the operating room where JFK was taken after the shooting.

The initiative follows Donald Trump's recent executive order demanding the full release of JFK assassination files. The order requires intelligence officials to create a plan for releasing the documents within 15 days. Trump has also ordered the release of files related to the MLK and RFK assassinations, with officials given 45 days to present a plan.

Luna and Comer have already begun their investigation by sending letters to various government agencies, including the Department of Justice, National Security Agency, CIA, Pentagon, and the State and Energy Departments. They are seeking information about multiple historical events that have sparked public interest and conspiracy theories over the decades.

FBI uncovers new documents about mysterious CIA operative

The announcement comes as the FBI revealed the discovery of 2,400 new documents potentially containing information about CIA spy chief George Joannides. The operative, who died in 1990, had connections to a group of anti-Castro students that Lee Harvey Oswald attempted to infiltrate weeks before the assassination.

Luna shared her perspective on the JFK assassination during the press conference, stating:

I believe that there were two shooters, and we should be finding more information as we are able to. In previous investigations, they didn't have access to the information that we are going to have access to, and so that's a big deal, especially if you're looking at what truly happened with JFK.

The congresswoman hopes to bring clarity to historical events that have long been subjects of public speculation and debate. She emphasized the importance of transparency and public access to these classified documents, noting that the hearings will be open to the public.

Next steps in the investigation process

Luna explained that her task force will work directly with the White House on document declassification. The investigation will also examine unidentified aerial phenomena and unidentified submerged objects, topics that have garnered significant public attention in recent years.

Approximately 3,600 government records related to the JFK assassination remain partially redacted despite a 2017 requirement to open them. These documents are part of a larger collection of over 5 million records held at the National Archives.

The task force's scope extends beyond assassinations to include contemporary issues such as the Jeffrey Epstein case and the origins of COVID-19. This broad approach reflects an attempt to address multiple controversies that have sparked public debate and speculation.

Moving forward with historical revelations

Representative Anna Paulina Luna's task force represents a significant effort to declassify government documents related to major historical events, beginning with the JFK assassination investigation. The initiative, supported by House Oversight Chairman James Comer and backed by President Trump's executive order, aims to provide unprecedented access to previously classified information. As the first hearing approaches in March, the task force's findings could potentially reshape public understanding of these pivotal moments in American history.
