Radio Contest Winner Accuses Diddy Of Assault At NYC Party

 December 22, 2024

An unsettling lawsuit has emerged from 2006 involving hip-hop mogul Diddy, with troubling allegations coming to light.

According to TMZ, LaTroya Grayson, an Oklahoma resident, has filed a legal case against Diddy and several entities, accusing them of a grievous assault at a New York City party.

Grayson's distressing experience began with what should have been an exciting victory in a radio contest organized by KJAMZ, which offered her a trip to NYC. The prize package for this contest included airfare, accommodations, and access to an exclusive event on October 16, 2006, financed by Atlantic Records.

Allegations Detail a Night of Horror

The event, which was initially planned as a lavish "White Party" but later changed to a "Black Party," became a nightmare for Grayson. After entering the party and being separated from her sibling who was left outside, she encountered unforeseen dangers.

According to Grayson, the party featured servers offering premade drinks to guests. After consuming two of these drinks, she began to feel severely ill, which led her to head towards the restroom on her own.

Grayson's next memory is of waking up in Saint Vincent's Medical Center, finding herself without her underwear and missing most of her money.

The sequence of events leading to her hospitalization remains a blur, casting a dark shadow over what was supposed to be a celebratory occasion.

Evidence Includes Party Invites and Hospital Records

Grayson's legal action is supported by physical evidence that includes photos of the party invitation, her airline tickets from Delta Air Lines, and the hotel bill—all intended to corroborate her presence and the circumstances she described.

In the aftermath of the party, Grayson reportedly received a disheartening anonymous phone call warning her against seeking legal redress, suggesting it would be futile given Diddy’s celebrity status. This call contributed to her initial reluctance to report the incident.

Grayson states, "I have no recollection of the rest of the night... instead waking up at Saint Vincent's Medical Center." This disorientation and lack of memory made it impossible for her to identify her assailant conclusively. Despite the trauma, her lawsuit does not directly implicate Diddy as being present or engaged in conversation with her at the party.

Legal and Public Repercussions for Diddy

Currently, Diddy faces severe legal challenges beyond this lawsuit. He is being held at MDC Brooklyn on charges that include racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and engaging in prostitution, painting a serious picture of alleged ongoing criminal activity.

While Grayson’s attorney, Ariel Mitchell, spearheads this troubling lawsuit, seeking justice for her client, attempts to reach out to Diddy’s legal team and representatives from KJAMZ and Delta Air Lines have been met with silence.

The shocking revelations from this case open up questions about the safety and security measures at high-profile events and the potential vulnerabilities attendees may face.

As the legal proceedings unfold, many will watch closely to see how accountability is addressed in such serious allegations.
