Japanese automaker Honda faces another significant safety challenge, marking its second major recall within a single month.
According to Daily Mail, Honda has issued a recall for 720,800 vehicles in the United States due to potential fuel pump defects that could lead to dangerous fire hazards.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced on Tuesday that the high-pressure fuel pump defect poses a serious safety risk. Fuel leaks combined with an ignition source could result in vehicle fires.

The manufacturer has committed to addressing the issue by having dealers inspect and replace the high-pressure fuel pumps at no cost to vehicle owners. Customer notification letters are scheduled for distribution on December 4.
