As we all know, Donald Trump and JD Vance have done more than double the interviews of Harris and Walz, and they are not stopping.
In fact, two of the most recent Trump interviews are getting a lot of attention for different reasons.

While Kamala Harris and Tim Walz can say just about anything they want with the mainstream media without fear of pushback, Donald Trump is not so lucky. He knows that when he does an interview, he will be fact-checked in real-time, and it happened again this week when he sat down with Bloomberg News' editor-in-chief, John Micklethwait, at the Economic Club of Chicago. Micklethwait went after Trump's economic plan pretty hard, especially Trump's plan to hit other countries with massive tariffs on goods being imported to this country, saying Trump's plan would "have a serious effect on the overall economy." He also stated that Trump's tariff plan could create a massive trade war. Trump addressed both issues:
"It's going to have a massive effect – positive effect. It's going to be a positive effect. It must be hard for you to spend 25 years talking about tariffs as being negative and then have somebody explain to you that you're totally wrong."
"No, there are no tariffs – all you have to do is build your plant in the United States and you don't have any tariffs. That's what I want."
Trump further added that if he raises the tariffs high enough, it will benefit the company to build a plant in the United States to avoid the tariffs, driving more jobs and manufacturing in the United States. Trump was also asked about the states that he believes would have the biggest impact in the election in terms of him being elected. Trump responded:
"They say Pennsylvania. I think we're doing very well there. I think you look at Michigan, too, and I'm doing very well.
"We're way up in Pennsylvania. We're way up in Michigan. We're doing very well in Arizona. In fact, somebody said they're going to pull the plug in Arizona – they're going to give it up because it looks like we're quite a ways ahead."

Barron Trump's footprint on this election may be bigger than most people realize. Barron is reportedly the one who advised Donald Trump to start doing podcasts to appeal to younger voters. As far as we can tell, it is working because Trump is picking up droves of young voters, especially young black males. In fact, a recent interview by Trump on "Flagrant" has Charlamagne Tha God worried about Harris' chances. On Friday, Charlamagne Tha God told his audience that one of his sources came to him regarding Trump's interview on "Flagrant," which was hosted by comedian Andrew Schulz, saying that was going to get Trump elected. Charlamagne Tha God stated:
"A young, Black man, 20-something years old, I'm not gonna say his name. I should say his name… He comes to me this morning, he turns to me, he goes, 'Flagrant is gonna get Trump elected.'"
Schulz laughed, telling Charlamagne Tha God, "The interview was fire, bro, I don't know what to tell you." He was clearly worried, telling his audience:
"There's nothing about the poll numbers that we're seeing right now that should make anybody feel like she's got this.
"I keep telling people this campaign feels more Hillary-ish than it does Obama-ish- than Obama' 08-ish."
I think Trump should fire his entire campaign staff and hire Barron as his main consultant because that was the best advice he has ever been given. I fully respect Trump for walking into the Lion's Den with no fear, but these more casual interviews make him more personable and likable to voters, so he needs to do more of them. Don't get me wrong, he has to do serious interviews as well to get policy across, but people need to see the more human side of Trump to counter the monster image the Dems and mainstream media portray on an everyday basis.
I also wanted to address Trump's comments about polling, saying they are "way up in Pennsylvania. We're way up in Michigan," which is just not true and I think he is hurting his campaign by not being honest here. Harris is actually up in both PA and MI right now, but Trump misleading his supporters could create confidence that should not be in place right now. Trump needs urgency in those states, and blatantly lying about how polling is going to go is not going to create that. This is the one thing that has always frustrated me with Trump in that his hubris is his worst enemy. Be honest with voters, especially when claims you are making can very easily be fact-checked and proven wrong.
